Do Turkish people bear any grudge against any particular nation? How do they treat south Asians?

Brother its a tricky question because it changes from people to people. As far i saw they dont have any grudge to any nation. We are very friendly to every nation.

But from what I've seen the Turks and Kurds hate each other with a passion. Then you get the Cypriots well that's another story I guess.

Brother jinn, yes what you say is right but like I said before, this changes from person to person. I saw many people who didn't have problem with Kurds. About the hate, Turks hate the Kurds who support PKK. Would like someone who would try to divide your county? I don't think so. I haven't heard anything about Cyripots.

That's fine. What about beard-turban-thawb etc? As Turkey was secularized, are Islamic attires considered as extremism or bizarre?

For the attire Yes they see it as extreme and bizarre. For the beard, they wouldn't mind much

So does it mean I might be mocked for adopting "extreme and bizarre" attire?

MashaAllah the Turkish people I met were very friendly. I was travelling back to Istanbul from Izmir with a friend and we had more people dropping us off at the coach station to bid us farewell then we had at Heathrow airport!

Turks don't like Arabs and Kurds but are very friendly with Indians and Pakistanees and most practicing Turks are very good and specially friendly with Indian/Pakistanees due to obvious historical reasons.

Dear brother I think it is wrong to say all turks hates arabs and kurds. I mean I'm a turk and don't have any problem with them. Like I said before this changes person to person. I guess you met many people who hate Arabs and kurds I agree with your other statement though.
