Saying of Hazrat Hakimul Ummat rh.a puports,'' I dont put my heart over my mind and I dont put my mind over the Sharia''
every saying of elders has certain wisdom and useful hidden message. We shouldn't take them casually.
Kufr and shirk are heinous sins, from which we've to abstain at any cost. We're aware of their nittiygritty details though, yet we must not be over confident of not commiting such sins even unintentionally.
Kufr:- Kufr refers to repudiate and negate the perspicuous laws and rulings of Sharia. Generally it's occurred when someone use his reasoning power or intelligence and delve into the commandments of Sharia and when his mind doesn't grasp the injunction, moreover, the latent repercussions, he begins to negate either verbally or in his heart. Former negation is more dangerous than latter.
Herein hazrat rh.a said, ''If you dont comprehend any Quranic ayat or hadis you verbally accept that it's the fault of my mind that I dont understand it and what this ayat/hadis say is true''
This advice is highly useful and supportive to protect our Iman intact. I've personally experienced it. Within 2/3 days, all of a sudden its reality is poured into the heart. Furthermore, the same or almost identical explanation I've read in books of my Ulama ikram (like Faqihul ummat rh.a) or heard in their (like Molana Hanif Luharvi HA) lectures.
Shirk:- It's due to the wild emotions and feelings concerning ultra respect for someone who has high esteem among the common people. They due to ignorance soar up the place of their esteemed shaikh endowed with certain divine powers which are attributed only to Allah swt cause them to commit shirk.
