Alhamdulillaah we are free from Gulen's fitnah. It's very easy to translate a Tablighee lecture from completely unknown languages. Because the six principles of Tabligh and relevant verses of Quran are known to every knowledgeable worker.

Not all Nurcus follow or even support Gulen. In fact many Nurcu groups oppose him.

It is true that the Gulen group consider themselves to be nurcu...however many nurcus do not consider them to be (at least not completely). There are many nurcu groups not just 4...eg. Yeni Asya, Zehra Vakfi, Med Zehra, Mehmet Kirkinci, Kurdoglu, Husrev, and so on.

The common denominator of all these nurcu groups is that they consider themselves to be students of Ustadh Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (may Allah have mercy on Him) and study his books. This is not the case with the Gulen group. Fethullah Gulen has written his own books (Pirlanta Serisi) and most members of the group seem to be focusing more on those than the books of Ustadh Bediuzzaman. They seem to put more emphasis on Gulen than Ustadh Bediuzzaman...at least this is what I saw from personal experience.

For this and for many other reasons many Nurcu groups do not feel comfortable to be associated with Gulen or his movement.

I agree but FG and others action left me not trusting any scholars in my own country... Only one i can trust...Only true ones seem to follow Said Nursi. I cant know which one is the true Said Nurci follower.. Thats why its better to stay away from Turkish cemaats

Sisters,

I mean no disrespect at all and I apologise beforehand if I come across as rude. It is not my intention.

I find (from first-hand experience) many Turkish Ulama and Mashaykh lacking in-depth knowledge of classical knowledge of Qur’aan & Sunnah and the original classical rulings of Hanafi Fiqh. They mostly rely on sayings of Imam Rabbani (RA) and (lately) Ilmul-Haal.

This has created a very serious drawback with Turkish classical Scholarship and also opened doors of Ta’weel (interpretation) which are unwarranted. Shaykh (Imam) Sai’d Nursi (RA) was a superb and splendid personality but some of his Ta’weel (interpretation) in Rasail-i-Nur conflict with classical (and orthodox) interpretation of the Qur’aan. I read it years ago so cannot quote you much at this point.

Due to this (distance) with classical interpretation of Qur’aan & Sunnah and the original classical rulings of Hanafi Fiqh every few decades people keep coming up in Turkey who present something new (in a nice shiny package) and it takes off; the latest (and tragic) is Harun Yahya. Anyone with classical knowledge of Qur’aan & Sunnah and the original classical rulings of Hanafi Fiqh would have INSTANTLY KNOWN that his interpretation of Mahdi (HA) is wacked!

Turks also are fascinated by the coming events of Mahdi (HA) and their Sufiya and Ulama continue to come out with books from (Istanbul) library which has narrations which are extremely weak (to fabricated). There are youtube videos of “Mahdi talks” by Sufees who quote Turkish manuscripts (for Hadeeth) and create a whole Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator stories, you can listen to the talk by a (British) Scholar from Liverpool to hear what I am saying…

I suggest that you study the Hanafi Fiqh in a classical manner yourself, Insha’Allah.

Harun Yahya is not a scholar in any way. Everybody in Turkey already knows he is a joke. You would be surprised to see his videos on youtube where he dances with many girls wearing revealing clothing with a lot of makup.
