If Helen O'Grady and pictures on her facebook about her dress and her class inside the Masjid are inaccurate then the Mosque Administrators should ask her to set the record straight or explain what happened on her facebook page
If Helen O'Grady and her pictures inside the Mosque are accurate it is DISGUSTING VIOLATION OF ISLAM and this Mosque should be forced to apologise and Salah should be abandoned in this place UNTIL some people of Shame and Fear of Allah (SWT) are put in charge of this facility!
What in the world is going on with these people? Have they no shame???

More knowledgeable brothers and sisters will correct my understanding which is limited of Turkey and its movements.
Basically, when Ata-Kuf’r and his merry band of men and women were attacking Shariah many movements tried to safeguard Islam in Turkey with the best of intentions. One option was to excel in Academia to graduate from universities, surge forward in professional fields so people of an “Islamist mindset” would reach the top thus the decision making can be directly affected.
While doing so they didn’t want to unnecessarily alarm the authorities and get harassed. Focus on the goal and achieve it.
Gülen movement places a lot of emphasis on education and social programs because their aim is to place highly educated professionals in key strategic positions to affect public policy.
They are weak in Aqaid and Fiqh and they are willing to tolerate that in order to achieve their goal.
Anyone who is serious about the Sunnah cannot be involved with these people but if they are active in South Africa then there is a substantial probability that within a decade or two they will reach (high) corridors of power within South Africa and affect public perception and policy.
They are also very good at media relations and social (cohesive) programs.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
