Dear brothers n sisters,

Asslamoalikum

After reading all the above posts a thought has just come to me and I would like all go consider it seriously. Yes we all agree that Saudi are an arrogant log who hate all non Arabs and are guilty of many crimes against the ummah. But consider this fir one second. At current time Muslims have become so weak that killing a fly is probably considered more evil than a Muslim. We have become a target of hate around the world. This is ofcourse due to the ummah letting go of deen. But one reason is also that we have become divided. We are always on the look out for reasons to disagree with Muslims around the world and use it to divide us. Maybe the reason why some scholars like Tariq Jameel are not criticising Saudi family is to help build some bridges.

I don't think any of the Deobandi scholars are trying find excuses for the Saudi family but are trying to keep the Ummah together in such times when we do not even have enough strength or courage to stop people like Assad.

If all the deobandi scholars started to criticise Saudi then imagine the hatred that would grow amongst the general Muslims in indo/Pak for Saudi further splitting us. Maybe this is the hikkah behind the actions of Deobandi scholars.

Just a thought.

May Allah guide us all and keep the ummah united. Ameen

Did you ever consider the fact that Sayyidina Hussain (RA) i.e. the Grandson of Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) had more Taqwa, brains and concerns for the Ummah then you and there reached a point where he revolted against the Government and in (your and Maulana Madani Saheb (HA)'s opinion) destroyed the peace?

Tell me, why did he do that? Someone should have stopped him, No?

The Ulamah of Nadwatul-Ulamah (India) turned down the visit and welcoming of Saudi delegation into Darul-uloom on the 9th of March 2014 due to their oppression towards Islam and Muslims and branding Ikhwan and Hamas as terrorist organisations.

Masha'Allah!!!

Nadwa refuses to meet Saudi delegation

By TwoCircles.net staff reporter

Lucknow: Famous Islamic education institution Nadwatul Ulama cancelled a trip by a Saudi delegation to the historic institution that was supposed to take place on Sunday. The message issued by Nadwa authorities said the reason for the cancellation of their visit was due to Saudi Arabia declaring Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas terrorist organizations.

The message was posted on his Facebook page by Maulana Salman Nadwi who is the Dean of the Faculty of Shariah at Nadwatul Ulama in Lucknow. The message said that administration of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama decided to take this extreme step because of their “religious, community, and reformative responsibility.”

The statement termed Muslim Brotherhood as an international reformative social organization and Hamas an organization that fiercely resists Israel.

The statement comes just two days after Saudi Arabia declared Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. In February, Saudi Arabia implemented a new law that sanctions tough punishment for any Saudi who support or join organizations classified as terrorist organizations.

Nadwa in its statement said that this new Saudi law is as draconian as India’s TADA or POTA laws. Amnesty International has criticized the new Saudi law as it may be used to crackdown on legitimate political dissent.

In an interesting comparison, Nadwa called the Saudi Government as bigger “zaalim” than Narendra Modi, the controversial Gujarat chief minister who presided over a genocide in 2002.

Just last month, a delegation led by Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul-Aziz Al ash-Sheikh had visited Darul Uloom Deoband.

Well what can be said....May ALLAH SWT reward syed salman saab. At the same time the response of Daruloom Deoband and the associated personalities was very disappointing. Could anybody mention who is the actual leader of Jamiat ul ulema Hind...is it maulana Arshad madani db or his nephew syed Mahmood madni db.

This kind of "hikmah" is actually CANCER. I was observing this cancer among Tablighees, now it is discernible among Deobandi 'Ulama as well. May Allaah سبحانه وتعالى save us.

Nadwa snubs its mentor and patron Saudi Arabia for Brotherhood
Says Saudi move to tag Muslim Brotherhood is an act more cruel than Gujarat genocide of hundreds of Muslims in 2002
Tuesday March 11, 2014 10:28 AM, ummid.com Staff Reporter

Setting a worst example of opportunism, Nadwatul Ulema, on Monday cancelled its March 16 appointment with a delegation from Saudi Arabia - the kingdom which always patronised and funded the now popular Islamic seminary in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow especially in its bad days.

Nadwa authorities in a statement described the decision as a move to protest Saudi Arabia's decision to declare Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas as terrorist organizations. The statement termed Muslim Brotherhood as an international reformative social organization and Hamas an organization that fiercely resists Israel.

Nadwa did not just stop here. In the most bizarre manner it compared Saudi Arabia's move to tag Muslim Brotherhood as an act "more cruel than the genocide of hundreds of Muslims in 2002 that was allegedly led by then chief minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi".

A message posted on the Facebook page of Salman Nadwi, the Dean of the Faculty of Shariah at Nadwatul Ulema said the administration of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulema decided to take this extreme step because of their "religious, community, and reformative responsibility."

While talking to local English daily Salman Nadwi confirmed the cancellation of the appointment.

"All that I can confirm is that the decision was taken collectively by the institution to express our resentment over what Saudi Arabia has done. The Saudi Arabia government has merely fallen to international pressures," he said.

The decision has shocked the Muslim community in India as it is a well known fact that Saudi Arabia has always funded, patronised and helped in all sorts the Islamic seminaries in India including Darul Uloom Deoband and Nadwatul Ulema.

It is said that late Syed Ali Miya Nadwi, former Dean of Nadwatul Ulema was a frequent visitor to the oil rich Kingdom and had gained major share of Saudi funding.

It is also learnt that Salman Nadwi, the grandson of Ali Miya Nadwi, who is said to be behind the entire controversy, is said to have been studied at Jamiatul Imam in Riyadh on Saudi Arabia's expenses.

The higher education of Salman Nadwi 's son, an alumnus of a Saudi university, is also said to be fully funded by the Saudi government.

It is also learnt that Salman Nadwi has established a seminary of his own with the help of Saudi funds but is now running a smear campaign in India against the Saudi government and its rulers since last few months.
