My first comment here. Just to share my experience.

I was so worried about France before we depart for our overland expedition. Early plan to take ferry to Ostend rather than Dunkirk. But no more ferry to Ostend at that time, 2 months ago, so we have to take ferry to Dunkirk. With plenty of doa, ferry at 4 am, no border officer and no custom control or any officer at all, Alhamdulillah.

When we at the camp site, I haven't been going out from motorhome. First time I walk out from car park to Dunkirk masjid / tablighi markaz for taraweeh prayer and next day in day time I walk to the shop next to it. Nobody say anything about nikab but possibly even some muslim have wonder or not ease face. Possibly worried if I know the law or not. But I thought I try and brave my self. When we went to dunkirk tablighi amir sab house for iftar, I ask his wife about nikab, she said , no nobody wear it out side the house. In own car is ok, but not walking around. I was like, oh ok. As night before we been entertain by a security guard at the camp site at one muslim cafe for iftar right in the middle of city centre where I did walk around with nikab. Than meeting some none muslim french that came into the cafe and interested in us and so friendly, almost every French non muslim that walk into the cafe waa lovely and one couple even leave their dog out side the cafe and took the seat outside because they don't want to disrespect the muslim place which my daughter think French are very lovely people and so respecful. The next day I heard about protest happen in Paris relating to nikab.

I think I will still worried to actually go to France, because you do feel worried and intimidate to talk around with nikab as the law banned it. Nevertheless I feel grateful with the experience and help from Allah all along three days we were there. May Allah swt ease our muslim brothers and sisters there. Insya Allah.

You are correct there are good and not so good people in all communities, including our own. Allah grant hidayah to all, inshaAllah.

I had walk around with nikab in Belgium as well without realising the law there also banned nikab. Alhamdulillah nothing happen. At the moment we had been on our 19th country. My experience at the moment Alhamdulillah is fine with nikab. I think after first couple of country, I feel more ease at the camp site as no muslim at any camp site let alone nikabi except camp site in Sarajevo.

Overall western/ european who used to travel much more open minded and at the moment I have no problem at the borders we been through. Not sure with our onward journey with couple of stan borders. Alhamdulillah at the moment nikab has been part of silence dakwah whereever we travel either among muslim or non muslim. My husband was worried before we enter Turkey, but we have smooth journey at border even everybody have to open boots and door for their car or even to scan area, but seeing me on front passenger seat, we just been let go easily. I guess it is related to nikab. Nikab can also show strong will power and faith that will give respect without asking it.

Insya Allah it wasn't easy to maintain nikab these day with so many things happen around but one thing I experience, Allah will always be there to help. Insya Allah.

Asslamo Allaikum,

Allah (SWT)'s help is with the work of Tableegh (Alhumdolillah) but I would avoid France/Belgium at most cases if travelling with women in Niqab and also don't pray out in the public because the police will ASSAULT you and its legal for them to hit you to break your salah!

French and Spanish will be nasty to you for no reason whatsoever because of their history with Islam.

Germany is probably the most Islam friendly country after UK.

Thanks for the info Brother Muadh.

We camp at place call Durnal. We drive around and find a refugee camp and meet many Muslims there. From Somalia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Iraq, Chenya, many looks like personal reason than the country problem. They are 2 big refugee camp and both have 99% muslim. Some are not practicing but most somalian woman are practising woman. At the time it was ramadhan. These somalian woman bring us to visit around the refugee camp. We meet a woman from chenya with 5 kids. But she did not looks like having problem although she had took a long journey to Belgium with 5 kids. Husband still in chenya.

They all waiting to get legal status. The refugee camp is in the middle of mountain and hills. Nice building and facilities. With rivers and pretty much holiday heaven. They free to practise, to pray, to wear hijab , to fast, they been provided with halal food and once a week, they been provided transport to the city for shopping.

We also found a small masjeed in town nearby and been entertain for Iftar. Was quiet shock knowing there is masjid there. Sort of in the middle of not many muslim.

German is sensible country. Sad case visiting Albania and Bosnia as many muslim, most restaurant, shop sell alchohol, and hard to get halal. We ended up just eat fish in the country with plenty muslim!

Sorry for being out of topic, but anybody know about halal meat in Iran? Jazaka Allahkhair.

I guess it will depend on who the meat is from. If they are Shia and they tell that it is Halal and done by the Sunni, then they are most likely practicing Taqqiyah (lying)

Mufti A. K. Hoosen (HA) (Part 9) confirms:

Don't eat meat in Iran
Don't pray behind them
There is no Sunni Masjid in Tehran

Mufti A.K. Hoosen (HA) says that we don't consider majority of Shia as Muslims so their meat is not Halal.

Mufti A.K. Hoosen (HA) also recommends to read the Book Minhajus-Sunnah of Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (RA)

If anyone knows if this book is available in English please let me know...
