Private member's bill outlawing burkas, niqabs and other face coverings is on the list of motions to be discussed in Parliament later today. Its sponsor, the Conservative MP Philip Hollobone, says it will aid integration - and balaclavas would also be banned.

Over the years this particular mp has been bringing this issue up time and time again. Just waiting to see what came up from yesterday's discussion, surely people must have more important issues to discuss. Really irates me, how the most innocent part of the community are always targeted.

Had a terrible experience at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France due to wearing the niqab, took the case to human rights and british embassy, obviously our case was brushed under the carpet and all the interpretation in French was incorrect. Anyway I learnt from our experience doesn't matter where you live or where you travel don't expect anyone other then a PRACTISING Muslim to stand by you....and for sure these people of ignorance have no shame and have lost all human senses.

Ignorant, ignorant people. I swore I would never travel through France again and Alhumdulillah I've never had to.
