This website allows you to generate an animation of the age of the moon giving details of illumination, hours, angle etc.

An absolute must for Moon sighters.

Just take a look at how thin the crescent actually looks when it is 22 hours old with only 1% illuminated and at 11.5 Degrees.

This app is not an Islamic app but it has some very very good features that we as Muslims can make great use of.

For example, when we want to site the new moon, we don't know where to look but with this app, you can pin point the exact location of the moon and look out for it.

 Awesome.

 Remember, the moon would only be visible if Allah makes it visible to us.

I use the widget in the second image. The timig is the same as to the 18 degree timetable made for my post code by Maulana Farid (HA). The App uses GPS if allowed and is very accurate.
