Take your pick of translations:

Sahih International

Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not tell you that I have the depositories [containing the provision] of Allah or that I know the unseen, nor do I tell you that I am an angel. I only follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Then will you not give thought?"

Muhsin Khan

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I don't tell you that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor (that) I know the unseen; nor I tell you that I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me by inspiration." Say: "Are the blind and the one who sees equal? will you not then take thought?"

Pickthall

Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): I say not unto you (that) I possess the treasures of Allah, nor that I have knowledge of the Unseen; and I say not unto you: Lo! I am an angel. I follow only that which is inspired in me. Say: Are the blind man and the seer equal? Will ye not then take thought?

Yusuf Ali

Say: "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to me." Say: "can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not?

Shakir

Say: I do not say to you, I have with me the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I say to you that I am an angel; I do not follow aught save that which is revealed to me. Say: Are the blind and the seeing one alike? Do you not then reflect?

Dr. Ghali

Say, "I do not say to you I have in my presence (i.e., with me) the treasuries of Allah, and I do not know the Unseen, and I do not say to you that surely I am an Angel. Decidedly I closely follow (nothing) except what has been revealed to me." Say, "Are the blind and the constantly beholding (man) equal? Will you then not meditate?"

YouTube Video Poster wrote:
In this speech Shaykh YAqoubi advocates the belief of Ilm e Ghayb of Rasulullah(Sallalahu alaih Wa Sallam) and states that he was given the knowledge of five things of Unseen mentioned in the Quran.

Alhamdulillah it has now been proven that this is not a "MADE IN BAREILLY" belief as some people claim. But this is a belief endorsed by Classical scholars in the Arab World as well.

Apologies, the first few seconds contain some kind of Duff. The end of the video surely is totally wrong!

Khair, the above talk is in complete contradiction again to this I do not say to you, I have with me the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen,

Yes the Prophet was special, but we don't take it to such extremes

if he claims the prophet (saw) is not human, then what do they claim he is?

these people are not far off from the claims the christians make about isa (as).

Salaamualaikum

This looks very interesting. Some of these who claim to be Sufis have berelvi tendencies when it comes the personality of rasullullah sallallahualaihiwasallam .

why is it that deobandis make so many excuses for him, but not for the likes of tahirul qadri and other barelwis, when they are all very similar?

I don't know what to tell you brother . There are berelvis masquerading as Sufis and salafis masquerading as hanafees and this is becoming common now.i guess everybody is using the taqiyyah method of the Shiah to conceal their beliefs. If everything is in the clear open then such person(s) would be dismissed as devients.thats why they have to conceil their plots.may allah protect the ummat from these trouble makers.ameen.

I my self can't speak for all the deobandis but I can surely say for the majlis of South Africa who are deobandi and they pretty much bash even fellow deobandis if they step out of line with their aqeedah or make up some new bidaat. They wrote something on sheikh yaqoobi and tahir qadri and their corrupt beliefs.

He did have some very balanced views in the past to be honest, listen to his commentary on 40 Hadeeth of Imam Nawawi (RA) and his views on Jihad.

But what use is a balanced view if the Aqeedah is falling apart?

(I have seen some great videos by him, what a shame)

it is unbelievable how people disregard established beliefs from the quran, sunnah and salaf - and instead choose to follow wild interpretations which glaringly go against the quran and sunnah, just because it is propagated by a celebrity scholar or someone who is perceived to be pious.

on one side we have the verses of the quran and hadith telling us that the prophet (saw) is human - and on the other we have yaqoubi telling us he is not human.
on one side we have the verses of the quran and hadith telling us only allah is all seeing, all hearing - and on the other we have yaqoubi telling us the prophet (saw) is all seeing, all hearing JUST like allah! (naoozobillah.)

do they really want people to believe that such fundamental aspects of aqeedah are so obscure and mystical that it takes pseudo intellectual acrobatics to come to the correct aqeedah?

Another issue is that people will accept what he has to say as he is the 34th grand child from the lineage of the Prophet (saw).

However, these people need to understand that there is a Hadith which clearly mentions that even Fatima رضي الله عنه would have to work her way into Jannah as well as every other member of ahlul bayt.

(i can't find the Hadith at the moment, bit of someone has it, please share it here)
