If what you say is true (that Maulana said the above) then Maulana must be right ;-)

It is comments like these that ruin the TJs.

Quite frankly, I don't blame the Salafi brothers for having a go at the TJs, not the ulama.

The more I read on these forums for and about tablighi jamaat, I'm beginning to dislike them more and more and its not the fault of any ulama, its the fault of those trying fix things.

Brother, if its not broken, don't try to fix it.

The issues we have today of accusations have been dealt with already, so really there's no need to constantly justifying your ways or work.

Stick to the truth, abandon falsehood and don't give your way a bad representation.

You are not a very good ambassador for tabligh.

From these posts and others elsewhere, you aren't fit to be a mod for a classical traditional forum like MS. But bad apples will be everywhere, so have to learn to live with them.

Sorry if it was rude.

salaam

the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill 2012-13 to 2013-14 has cleared the house of commons and will be passed to the house of lords. i have read that even if it is rejected by the house of lords then the house of commons can still veto that?

so it seems that more than likely the bill will probably be passed into law. it would be wise for muslims to prepare for this and take steps to limit the damage it could cause within our communities and youth.

As I said back then, if the Ulama don't oppose it, then they will say it's okay.

This has now happened and the first Muslim (by name) is officially married to his gay partner and has said, "I want to show the people going through the same thing that it's okay - we're going to show the whole world you can be gay and Muslim." (by name) (Jahed Choudhury)

simple answer. nothing. but as mentioned islam is not a selfish religion and we seek to better lives of all creation of Allah by taking them from the worshipping of their nafs to worshipping the creator of creators.

using your analogy we can apply it to everything. whats it to me if someone worships jesus, ram, shaam, monkies, and what not?

as for a moral perspective it right to object to it. true morals can only be taugh and learn via wahee. science doesnt give u morals. same people who support gay marriage ( i know dont) just ask them whats wrong with incest? whats it to them if a brother wants to marry his mother/sister/daughter as long as it meets their criteria eg age and concensual.

if u allow one thing to pass before long you will let everything pass. today i was listening to LBC discussing a muslim school and segragation and a few 'muslims' rang to say they dont support segragation as taught in islam
