I dont really want to get into this debate at all, but I will say one thing (possibly more later)

When I would question some Tablighi brothers as to why certain people leave their family when they are in such a state, i.e. they leave them "hanging" and go to other cities trying to bring other youths to the Masjids. They would simply reply, "They need to give Dawah, like Prohpet Nuh (as), if he stayed to preach to his family only, then 950 years would have been wasted and he would not have called the others to the deen"

Now you can take this post as a positve or a negative. I know where I stand.

May Allah help us all get a better understanding and unite each and everyone of us from all different fields and help us accept each other.

Its seems like you still havent understood what brother muadh has been trying to explain. These criticisms that you are pin pointing and attaching to tabligh are such that they apply to almost all the different efforts of deen that are taking place.

For instance I clearly know ulama whose kids are on drugs! But these scholars still travel doing speeches at various different cities and towns. Know, tell me, have you actually had the courage to pose the same questions to these respected ulama that you do to simple brothers in tabligh. If not, then why is it that tabligh is specifically being targeted???

The problem is there and I agree with Muadh. But there is still extremists in all groups.

I have done 100s of threads like these, let me suggest you one thing, look at those who have struck a fine balance between the work and the family - look at them, and there are many and learn from them, this advice is for me too.

But if someone says 'their kids themselves are into evil and stuff - so let them start dawah from home' then I have nothing to say except, in the Prophets [peace be upon him] himself there were kuffar, even those who wrote the revelations among them there were people who later became apostates, the Prophet [peace be upon him] didn't sit with 24/7 to make them understand because he [peace be upon him] knew guidance was only from Allah.
