Assalamu Alaykum,

I have a lot of islamic books and darsi books in urdu, arabic etc.. that I want to either sell them on for whatever someone wants to give me for them, or donate them to a madrasah library/students as sadaqa Jaariyah...or just give them away for free...to whoever wants them....

any suggestions? any takers?

Alhumdulillah,

Why not try the muftisays charity shop.

InshaAllah anyone who buys them all proceeds will go to muftisays and you shall be rewarded for giving charity by the will of Allah.

Prison service also takes books, but very specific about what they accept.

If you have used the right address then straight away you should have gotten an out of office response that it will be a few days before you get a response, if you didn't you sent email to the wrong address.

You can also contact then Mon-Fri between 17:00-19:00 on the phone number on the site.

W-Salaam,

Yes I did get the out of office response, its been 5 days now...Its not a problem, I will still wait for them to respond...

I also contacted UWT to see if their interested, as they do Madrasah and Masjid Projects in Pakistan and India and some of persian books might be useful there especially.

I estimate that I should have about 30 plus boxes ready by the end of the coming week, so whoever and however I can reduce that, is welcome.
