Please also make Dua for the muslims of Assam (India).

Communal violence in Assam's Bodoland area continued unabated in Kokrajhar and Chirang districts and also spread to new areas. With the toll now 19, the administration has issued shoot-at-sight orders in Kokrajhar and extended night curfew indefinitely in both districts. Thousands of people have fled their homes in Assam after fighting between Bodos and Muslim

Out of the 18 deaths, 14 were reported from Kokrajhar and four in Chirang.

"We have issued shoot-at-sight orders in Kokrajhar district. The night curfew which was on in both the districts had been extended for an indefinite period. So far, 14 people have died in Kokrajhar and four in Chirang," Inspector General of Police, Bodoland Territorial Area District, S.N. Singh told IANS.

"People have abandoned their houses and shifting to relief camps. Some miscreants from both the communities are also taking advantage of the situation and are setting the abandoned houses ablaze," he added.

The ongoing violence also spread to Dhubri district in Lower Assam Monday forcing the district administration to impose night curfew in certain pockets.

"Curfew had been imposed in some sensitive areas under five police stations in the district -Dhubri, Gouripur, Golakganj, Bilasipara and Chapar," Dhubri Deputy Commissioner K.C. Kalita told IANS.

The All Minority Students Union (AMSU) had also called a 24-hour shutdown in the district Monday in protest against the violent attacks of minority community in Kokrajhar and Chirang districts.

"Police had to resort to blank firing in Gouripur and Golakganj area of the district after some bandh supporters tried to close shops forcefully. Some of the bandh supporters also damaged the office of Bodoland Peoples' Front (BPF) in Gauripur town," said Dhubri Superintendent of Police Pradip Saloi.

BPF is ruling the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) which runs the administration of the BTAD areas.

Meanwhile, Assam Forest Minister Rockybul Hussain and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Nazrul Islam visited some of the violence-affected areas of Kokrajhar district Monday and reviewed the law and order situation.

Earlier in the day, an alert has been sounded in ten districts on the north bank of the Brahmaputra following communal violence in the Bodoland area, officials said Monday.

The army has been called in to help police and paramilitary forces in Kokrajhar and Chirang.

The National Disaster Response Force and the Assam Forest Protection Force are also being deployed in the districts to assist the civil and police officials.

According to official sources, the violence started after gunmen attacked two student leaders in Magurbari Thursday. Following this, four former Bodo militants were shot dead Friday.

How and when did the Muslims become so weak? How did the "Muslim" leaders become so pathetic and Kuffar worshippers?

A footballer had a heart attack and collapsed on a football pitch year and the entire country supporting the family, friends and team of this player. One person. TENS OF THOUSANDS are slaughtered and NOTHING. Absolutely nothing? I read a few things which I'm going to post now and the media makes it sound like a little car accident. Remember the black innocent girl who was shot at a shop by rival gangs of the shop? That's still on the news after years. This is madness.

Why haven't a few hundred thousand men not marched down yet demanding the government to stop spending OUR money on killing innocent Iraqis and Afghanis for oil and go slaughter these Buddhist animals. Forget our country, Muslim leaders will burn in Hell for this. They will burn till they can't be burnt any more and start over just to burnt to that same degree again and again in hell. Those silent tycoons who kiss George Bush and lick Tony Blairs tail will answer for this.

This has disturbed me all day and it still is

FROM BBC: (Last updated 2nd August 2012)

Three international aid agencies in Bangladesh have been told to stop providing aid to Muslim Rohingya refugees from neighbouring Burma.

Bangladeshi authorities say the agencies are operating beyond their mandate by giving aid to refugees who are in the country illegally.

Aid workers say an abrupt withdrawal of services will worsen humanitarian conditions in camps along the border.

Thousands have fled communal violence in Burma's Rakhine state since May.

The French aid agencies Doctors Without Borders and Action Against Hunger and the British agency Muslim Aid are those who have received the order.

The charities were providing health care, food and water to thousands of refugees in the Cox's Bazaar district of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh recognises only 29,000 as refugees, whereas the total number of those who have crossed the border is estimated at 300,000. Hundreds have been turned away at the border by Bangladeshi authorities.

A senior Bangladeshi official said the charities' actions in providing aid was encouraging more to cross the border illegally, reports the BBC's Anbarasan Ethirajan in Dhaka.

A state of emergency was declared in Rakhine in June after deadly clashes between Buddhists and Muslims.

Violence flared after the rape and murder of a Buddhist woman in May, followed by an attack on a bus carrying Muslims.

Communal unrest continued for weeks as Muslims and Buddhists engaged in attacks and reprisals, leaving many dead and forcing thousands of people on both sides to flee their homes.

There have been long-standing tensions between Rakhine people, who are Buddhist and make up the majority of the state's population, and Muslims, many of whom are Rohingya.

This week campaign group Human Rights Watch issued a report accusing Burmese government forces of failing to contain the initial unrest and themselves persecuting Muslims in Rakhine state, including incidents of rape and killing, as well as making hundreds of arrests.

Burma denies its security forces are guilty of human rights abuses in Rakhine.
