As for the example you are mentioning of 100x Hasbunallah. The people who normally object to this are extreme Salaafis... And will ask "In which hadith does it say you should recite 100 times."

There objection is usually about the amount recommended and that no specific amount is mentioned in Hadith.

A similar question was put to Mufti Abdur Raheem Limbada about reciting HasbunAllah 300 times a day.

I posted his response here... www.muftisays.com/forums/27-sharing-portal/10469-hasbunal...

In Sha Allah the above posts offer some clarification.

Go for it sister. Have firm belief that Allah is the doer. Wazaif are also form of zikr. If your heart is content on wazaif then go for it. Along with that also, recite duas prescribed in quran and hadith. Also , some wazaif are also mentioned in ahadith too. Do not worry too much.

Doing Sharai' wazaif doesn't make one a kafir or innovator.

And yes the other brothers are also correct. Consult a scholar before doing any wazifa.

Islam is very simple and easy deen. No need to worry too much.

JazakAllah khair brother. I am glad I discussed here. I went thro the link in post.

I, long ago, few years or say it, many years ago. I read it in Wazaif book that you put hand on your heart and you say. Ya Mumit’o (The Bringer of Death, the Destroyer) i dont remember how many times but u do it before sleeping then ur desires of sins etc are gone.

I had in mind not to watch tv etc but then i would continue. I read that and thus i started off this Amal or wazifa.
I did it few times.

Daysback, i was watching a yt video of dr Israr Ahmad he mentioned too, about this taking permission from
Scholars.. he also said first Zikar is Salah, then Quran, Quran in Salah then Sunnah duas then you do these Azkars but if the case is Reversed then it’s something to be worried about.

He also mentioned if you Do one wazifa like (I forgot exact terms but i will exemplify) like you recite a name that means Zilat deny Wala, then there you should also recite that means Izzat deny Wala.

That time i was clicked and remember the Wazifa I did earlier. I was supposed to Recite Ya Ba’iso too in order to keep the balance.

Now after reading that thread.
I feel like my heart has no feelings it’s because of the wazifa i did without prescription?

Brother plz can u help me what shall i do now to balance it?

JazakAllah khair for your help

I did hear Mufti Ibraheem Limbada mention, that to counter the side effects of certain Zikrs. Mashaykh prescribe Durood.

Durood has no side effects all you feel is peace.

Anyways Brothers Dr76 and Alif are more knowledgable in this area.
As well as sister Ummi Talib.

My knowledge is limited... I have just repeated what I have read in my previous posts.

I do not know how to tag people. Brother Dr786 rarely posts and Brother Alif I am sure will post when he has time.

I think you have misunderstood, the context in which I was speaking. And what I meant by side-effects.

The fact you are here trying to learn your deen is proof that your heart is not dead, if you recited a particular wazifa with intention to give up a sin then that will not have caused your heart to die.

When the mashaykh mention the death of the heart it is in the context of the death of the heart is caused by sins. The heart is revived by the remembrance of Allah, sincere tawbah and giving up sins. That is an entirely different topic.

Here is a lecture by mufti Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf on how to revive the dead heart.... youtu.be/n8fxnIqAK1g

As for side-effects that I was mentioning usually, becoming moody, irritable, quick to lose temper. Intolerant. etc.

Other effects can be people start seeing strange colours and having visions, start believing they have become really holy or start doing Zikr even more excessively in order to inculcate those feelings. Therefore they start doing zikr to acquire feelings and visions rather then the main goal which is to develop close connection to Allah.

Someone mentioned in another forum about a brother who would spent hours doing Zikr of a sifaat of Allah. Suddenly he started seeing jinns, everywhere nearly drove him to insanity.

Thats fine if they were to it, they may reply.

And no brother, i did get the context you intended. I was just asking about my own experience, as i didn’t get someone’s permission. Thats why I thought it may have been heavy dose for me. Anyways Thanks for mentioning that a dead heart can not do Zikar. If i am doing now and then that’s a sign Alhamdulillah that its alive. JazakAllah khair

youtu.be/fIlknDNPLgM

I have watched this and other vid about Zikr.

Bismillah.

Things are not looking to good at the moment.

GP surgery referred me to Physiotherapist. The physiotherapist said, the problem I have is beyond them...I need to be referred to hospital for an M.R.I. scan and to see a spinal specialist.

Well when I visited my G.P. he opened the electronic letter the Physiotherapist sent him on the computer. I could'nt read all of it but I saw the word KyphoScoliosis.

After googling what Kyphoscoliosis is prospects dont seem to good.

Anyways wont get a proper diagnosis until I get an M.R.I. done.

Duas requested.

Request for Duas for Islam in Pakistan

It was/is/never will be my intention to mock the Ulama etc. However this "stunt" by Maulana Fazlur-Rahman (HA) has done severe damage to the status of Sunnah in Pakistan. It is open season for all Atheists/Secularist/Modernists to come out and mock components of Shariah (Beard, Hijab etc).

This is the Deen of Allah Ta'ala and Allah Ta'ala will protect it.

I request all to make Dua for Muslims of Pakistan to be kept safe, sound and secure because I have a genuine feeling that things will get bad for Muslims (of Pakistan) who follow the Sunnah.

Ameen.

Pakistani Superstar quits showbiz for the sake of Allah Ta'ala and says:

Lets imagine that I win an Oscar or become the greatest actor in the world. I will still have to die and death will be the end of all my achievements. Since I will have to die and face Allah no matter what, I have decided to dedicate my life for Dawah and talking about Allah Ta'ala.

I don't want to sit through another Interview where people ask me about "my next role", I want to talk about Allah Ta'ala.

Rabi Pirzada

Pakistani star quits show biz and turns to Allah Ta'ala and states:

Many from #Metoo movement approached me to say that they will defend me saying:

"My body, my will"

I say, "No, this is the body given by Allah Ta'ala and it has to be used according to the commands Allah Ta'ala"

I could have escaped to the west and gained Asylum but where can I go to escape Allah Ta'ala? I have to go into my own grave and answer for my own misdeeds.

I seek your Duas and make Dua for the people of Kashmir.
