Why Today Muslims behind other?

salam, I am a Muslim, but when I compare our community in UK with other, I can see we are so far behind them.

Look at our Masjids, how administrated?  just compare it to a small church ragarding administration.

Then every Masjid is an independant, there is no centralization of Masjids in UK, which causing to split Muslim community.

I talked to many Muslims regarding this, I found them so closed mind.

I don't think someone will agree with me either here also

When you say adminstration if you mean finacaially, then the difference is churches are funded by the governement while masjids are not. So they really cant be compared with each other.

I agree with you in principle but take a different stance. The organisation of a Masjid committee into “Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Accountant” etc is NON-NENSE because that’s how a corporate entity functions while Masjid is foremost a “Service” to Muslims.

As an American I can tell you that most Masajid in USA are organised along the lines of a corporate structure (above) because they are run by professionals (and not Ulamah) and since they are used to this at work so they bring it to the house of Allah (SWT) and you hear phrases like “meeting minutes, financial records, transparency etc”.

1. Masjid is a house of Allah (SWT) and it should be run according to Sunnah which is under one Ameer and Mushwara. If the Ulamah are competent Managers then they should be the Ameer, otherwise whoever is competent , capable and with a good character, this should be a "MAN"
2. The Shura should consist of Sunnah following Taqwa filled capable and competent brothers (and sisters), if they are Ulamah so be it and if they are not so be it.
3. Technical work should be subcontracted out and tasked to professional e.g. Accountants etc
4. There should be a special approval committee (based solely on Ulamah) to ratify and approve all decision and ensure Shariah compliance. These Ulamah can be local or based elsewhere
5. Nothing in the Jamaat Khana (prayer Hall)  should be ALLOWED except for what occured in the Masjid of Sayyidina Rasul-ulah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and this includes Dhik'r Majalis, Duroord, Yaseen, Qur'aan Khatam & Tableeghi Tashkeel etc. All talks and discussions on sectarianism and taking a dig on other groups (Deobandees, Salafees, Barelwees) SHOULD BE BANNED

      Halaqahs of Ilm from Ulamah & Islamic talks & Aitekaa.f should be permitted apart from 5 times Salah and thats about it in the Jamaat Khana (prayer Hall)
   2. Discussions on Madhabs and differences of opinions should be allowed from an Academic perspetive
   3. This is how things need to run and we don't take anyone's side including our own Shaykh to reduce sectarianism and bickering
6. All meetings and decisions should be made PUBLIC in full
7. All payments should be be made PUBLIC in full
8. All members of the community should have the power to raise issues to be discussed in SHURA
9. The Ameer should be held to Account by any member of the community.

What makes you think people don't agree with you. Look at the response you have been given. MashaAllah, a topic that most mosques will stay away from and quite frankly, I think they need to wake up and smell the oudh (instead of coffee)
