Wouldn't it be awesome to have pictures of our local masjids on here? they might not be as fancy as the ones on the thread, but its where our greatest connection and love for the masjid lies. Not put full addresses, just few words to inform of locality.

SULTANIJA DZAMIJA . PLAV MONTENEGRO. BUILT IN 1909



asalaamualaikum warahmattullah

this was originally constructed by the orders of the last pious ottoman sultan Abdul hameed khan (r).
the masjid was latter onfiscated and turned into a police station during the communist rule of Yugoslavia for 50 years. only after Montenegro won its independence from Serbia back in 2000, the montenegron government handed the masjid over to the muslim authorities of the town of plav. since then it has been fully restored and an Islamic revival as well .allahuakbar.

Yeah it's true but Serbia is the worst out of the two.i heard that they destroyed the last standing ottoman era masjid in Belgrade a year or two ago.
