Mariam was so happy about the house they had found.
For once in her life 'twas on the right side of town.
She unpacked her things with such great ease.
As she watched her new curtains blow in the breeze.
How wonderful it was to have her own room.
School would be starting; she'd have friends over soon.

There'd be sleep-overs, and parties; she was so happy
It's just the way she wanted her life to be.
On the first day of school, everything went great.
She made new friends and even got a date!
She thought, "I want to be popular and I'm going to be,

Because I just got a date with the star of the football team!"
To be known in this school you had to have a clout,
And dating this Joe would sure help her out.
There was only one problem stopping her fate.
Her parents had said she was a Muslim and could not date.

"Well, I just won't tell them the entire truth.
They won't know the difference; what's there to lose?"
Mariam asked to stay with her new girlfriends just a night.
Her parents frowned but eventually said, "All right."
Excited, she got ready for a romantic occassion
Her mind was over excited awaiting a great sensation.

But as she rushed around like she had no sense,
She began to feel guilty about all the lies,
But what's a pizza, a party, and a moonlight ride?
Well the pizza was good, and the party was great,

But the moonlight ride would have to wait.
For Joe was half drunk by this time.
But he kissed her and said that he was just fine.
Then the room filled with smoked and Joe took a puff.
Mariam couldn't believe he was smoking that stuff.

Now Joe was ready to ride to the point
But only after he'd smoked another joint.
They jumped in the car for the moonlight ride,
Not thinking that he was too drunk to drive.
They finally made it to the point at last,
And Joe started trying to make a pass.
A pass is not what Mariam wanted at all
(And by a pass, I don't mean playing football.)
"Perhaps my parents were right, I'm Muslim and young.

"Boy, how could I ever, ever be so dumb."
Joe now firmly gripped her bum!
Being a Muslim, her Emaan(Faith) began to ignite
With all of her might, she pushed Joe away:
"Please take me home, I don't want to stay."
Joe started the car and moved with a blast.
In a matter of seconds they were going too fast.

As Joe drove on in a fit of wild anger,
Mariam knew that her life was in danger.
She begged and pleaded for him to slow down,
But he just got faster as they neared the town.
"Just let me get home! I'll confess that I lied.
I really went out for a moonlight ride."
Then all of a sudden, she saw a big flash.
"Oh Allah, Please help us! We're going to crash!"
She doesn't remember the force of impact.
Just that everything all of a sudden went black.
She felt someone remove her from the twisted rubble,
And heard, "call an ambulance! These kids are in trouble!"

Voices she heard...a few words at best..its a bad smash
But she knew there were two cars involved in the crash.

Then wondered to herself if Joe was all right,
And if the people in the other car were alive.
She awoke in the hospital to faces so sad.
"You've been in a crash and it looks pretty bad."
These voices echoed inside her head,
As they gently told her that Joe was dead.
They said " Mariam, we've done all we can do.
But it looks as if we'll lose you too."

"But the people in the other car!? " Mariam cried.
"We're sorry, Mariam, they also died."
Mariam prayed, "Allah, forgive me for what I've done
I only wanted to have just one night of fun."
"Tell those people's family, I've made their lives dim,
And wish I could return their families to them."
"Tell Mom and Dad I'm sorry I lied,
And that it's my fault so many have died.
Oh, nurse, won't you please tell them that for me?"

The nurse just stood there-she never agreed.
But took Mariam's hand with tears in her eyes.
And a few moments later Mariam died.
A man asked the nurse, "Why didn't you do your best
To bid that girl her one last request?"
She looked at the man with eyes so sad.
"Because I've just heard that....

the people in the other car were her own mom and dad."

This story is sad and unpleasant but in reality so true,
So young people take heed, it could have been you.

Only 61 views. The above story is very good.
Great for kids. Pass it on please.

Below is another story of one day of fun.

Family Day Out

One day out of the many days of life.

A man was traveling with his Wife and Kids.

On the way, he met someone standing in the roadway.

So he asked him: Who are you?

He said: I am Money

The man asked his wife and kids : Should we ask him to ride with us?

They said together: Yes, of course, because money can help us if we want to do something, and get anything we wish for.

So, they took Money to ride with them.

And the vehicle continued on its way until the man met someone else on the road.

The Father asked: Who are you?

He said: I am high Position and Power

So, the father asked his wife and kids : Should we ask him to ride with us?

They all answered in one voice: Yes, of course, because with high position and power we will have the ability to do anything we want and own anything we desire.

The man took high Position and Power along and the vehicle went ahead.

Further ahead they came across many more people who offered to add joy and comfort to their trip, and with the advice of the family, the man kept allowing them to accompany him. Yet again the vehicle was stopped by someone who wanted to give them company.

The Father asked: Who are you?

He said: I am Deen.

The man, his wife, and the kids said in one voice: No, this isn't the time; we are looking for pleasures on this trip, and Deen will prevent us from joy; it will have control over us, and we will suffer listening to it and being loyal to it.

So the man said:Deen, please wait and rest assured we will definitely return soon to you, and pick you up.

Sadly Deen was left behind and the vehicle continued its trip.

And out of no where something appeared in the middle of the road

They found someone asking the father to get out of the vehicle..

He said to the father: As far as you are concerned the trip has ended!!! !

Get out of the vehicle and come with me.

The father was shocked with fear and didn't say a word.

Deen alone can come with you. Is he there with you?

The father answered: No, but I have left him not too far behind. If you can let me go back, I can get Deen in no time.

There is no going back from here.

Huh! said the man. I have my Money, Position and Power, my Wife, and my Kids,

The man said to him: They will not benefit you; nor will they protect you.

So, the father asked: And who are you exactly?

I am Death.

the one you were quite heedless of and didn't take into account on your trip!!

The father looked back at his vehicle; he found his wife taking control of it and continuing the trip with all of its passengers but him.

'Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.' Qur'an 9:24

'Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.' Qur'an 3:185

Let us remember, our journey may end any moment and let us make sure that our Deen is there with us.

Legoland cancels Muslim family fun day in fear of "guest and employee safety"

Posted by 5 Pillarz

Legoland have cancelled a family outing organised by a prominent Muslim scholar in fear of guest and staff safety after they received a number of threatening calls, emails and social media posts.

The family fun day which was organised by Sheikh Haitham al Haddad of the Muslim Research and Development Foundation (MRDF) for Sunday 9th March will not be going ahead after a barrage of violent messages were made by far-right Islamophobic extremists.

The English Defence League, Casuals United and other far-right groups vowed to hold a protest outside Legoland, many threatening to use violence to prevent the family outing.

Legoland issued the following statement:

"The Legoland Windsor Resort prides itself on welcoming everyone to our wonderful attraction; however due to unfortunate circumstances the private event scheduled for Sunday 9th March will no longer take place. This was an incredibly difficult made after discussions with the organisers and local Thames Valley Police, following the receipt of a number of threatening phone calls, emails and social media posts to the Resort over the last couple of weeks.

"These alone have led us to conclude that we can no longer guarantee the happy fun family event which was envisaged or the safety of our guests and employees on the day - which is always our number one priority.

"Sadly it is our belief that deliberate misinformation fuelled by a small group with a clear agenda was designed expressly to achieve this outcome. We are appalled at what has occurred, and at the fact that the real losers in this are the many families and children who were looking forward to an enjoyable day out at Legoland.

"We would like to apologies to them and to the organisers, and to thank them for their understanding. We hope that they will all be able to come to visit us during the season."
