CAN some one please explain this.

I have heard this in a talk. It is an absurd Fatwa and a false Fatwa rejected by the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'.

I havent read the whole of the wiiki stuff yet, but will do InshaAllah.

From what I heard in the lecture (By Mufti Abdur Raheem Limbada) is that in order for women to work with non Mehrum in offices, they could suckle the co worker with milk and hence became a mehrum. The evidence they have bought forward is from the time of the Prophet SAW when one of the companions was uncomfortable with the male servant working very closely with his wife. and for this reason he told that his wife could breast feed the male servant and became a mehrum. This was a one offf sittuation and not allowed today. This was a specific order by the Prophet for this family.

But the Salafi in the middle east, well, need I say more.

The Hadith must not be taken out of context like they have done in the Middle East.

The servent was with the companions for a long time, before puberty. This is a one off incident as Mufti Abdur Raheem clearly says it in his talk (see/listen to salafi hijack, part 2)


'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him andhis family in their house.She (i.e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained(puberty) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, where upon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.

As for the moderator 'YASIN', why did he allow this thread to go on when it had an islamic question in it? shouldn't he have removed the question and asked the questioner to ask the muftis in the q&a section?
