I can't make apps. But if there's any volunteers capable, i'd be happy to create API's for them to use to fetch data.

Besides, what would the app do?

Just go straight to the home page maybe. Or also have the option to select where on the site you would like to goto with the touch of one button.

For me, my home page is Google and muftisays.

On the iPhone you can create an app icon (like an app) to take you to anyweb page. I'm sure other phones have similar options?

That would just serves as a favourite / bookmark then? and i already do that on iphone, click and launch.

In the app you would need the following: -

an interface to sign in.
your dash borad, prefrences and stuff
your inbox
sent items
sigh sections for example - guestbook/forum/videos /latest q&a/ submit question
track your questions
magazine section.
etc etc etc

you would need to create a whole application interface with a fresh look, and just have all the data populated from your site, not just display the pages via your site, as you just will be wasting time creating another web browser....

and sell app for .99p = )

That's actually a good idea. I do feel if this went ahead, there'd be a lot of updates as there's a lot on the site.

App should probably be free, option to donate which I feel is quite pointless nowadays.

Only problem is, where do find an app developer.

My idea was only to keep it basic, so that by pressing one button, we could go straight to the home page. This would not require any updates as the home page is a webpage.

Maybe daywalk3r knows someone.
