Why do girls cover up

I received this as an email some time ago.

"One day, a brilliantly beautiful and fragrant flower with attractive colors met a pearl that lives far in the bottom of the sea and has none of these characteristics. Both got acquainted with each other.

The flower said: "Our family is large; roses and daisies are members of the family. And there are many other species that are various and countless; each has a distinctive scent, appearance etc."

Suddenly, a tinge of distress appeared on the flower. The pearl asked."Nothing accounts for sorrow in your talk; so why are depressed?" 

"Human beings deal with us carelessly; they slight us. They don't grow us for our sake but to get pleasure from our fragrance and beautiful appearance. They throw us on the street or in the garbage can after we are dispossessed of the most valuable properties; brilliance and fragrance."

The flower sighed. And then the flower said to the pearl: "Speak to me about your life! How do you live? How do you feel it? You are buried in the bottom of the sea."

The pearl answered: "Although I have none of your distinctive colors and sweet scents, humans think I am precious. They do the impossible to procure me. They go on long journeys, dive deep in the seas searching for me. You might be astounded to know that the further I lay, the more beautiful and brilliant I become.

That's what upraises my value in their thought. I live in a thick shell isolated in the dark seas. However, I'm happy and proud to be in a safe zone far from wanton and mischievous hands and still the humans consider me highly valuable."

Do you know what the flower and the pearl symbolize?

You will find that: The flower is the unveiled woman (who shows her charms) and the pearl is the veiled woman (who conceals her beauties."

Someone who had a great impact on my life was a Shaykh (6'5") Ex-gangster, no hold barred lover of the Sunnah, 100% Hanafi and lover of the Ulama of Deoband with 3 degrees including one in Psychology.

1 day in UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) which is one of the most prestigious institutes in America he was on of the stage answering questions about Islam in front of packed Media. He hated Media and considered TV to be Haram but the person who was supposed to be in a debate chickened out so to represent Islam he went on to the stage, unprepared!

A woman asked the question, “Why do Muslim men marry 2 wives, isn’t that exploitation of women?”

He answered, “Let me ask you something. If Person A, B & C want to get together of their free will then WHO THE HELL ARE YOU, TELLING THEM what they can or can’t do and what gives you a right to interfere in people’s personal affairs?”

Silence! All questions about women got the same kind of treatment!

A young Secular/Progressive LA Muslimah (doing Phd) wanted to write in his Islamic magazine about women rights and liberation and she threatned that if he doesn't publish her article, she will take him to court!

He said, "Sister, why would we not publish you, you are our Sister in Islam? How could you even think like this? Please give us your article" so she happily did.

He put the following verse of the Qur'aan on the top of the page and then published hers in FULL:

[33:33] Remain in your homes, and do not display (your) beauty as it used to be displayed in the days of earlier ignorance; and establish Salah, and pay Zakah, and obey Allah and His messenger. Allah only intends to keep (all sorts of) filth away from you, O members of the family (of the prophet), and to make you pure through a perfect purification.
 

: -) You would never witness a Hijabi woman curse and use bad language so many times in a short conversation and get so worked up about a verse of the Qur'aan : - )

The entire Drama of Islamic Secularism destroyed with a single verse of the Qur'aan.

Jamaat was in Garden Grove Masjid (LA) which is one of the richest communities of Asians in the world. 1 progressive Sister asked as to why there are no women in Jamaat and this is discrimination.

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) replied, “Because men and women are different?”

She said, “No they are not?”

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) replied, “Why don’t you come into the same Toilet with me?”

Silence!

Jamaat was leaving and Masjid committee came to “Thank the Jamaat” for their work in the community so Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) asked, "What is your objective in serving the Mosque"?

They said, “To spread Islam and Sunnah!

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) replied with his famous trade-mark punch-line, “Your face LOOKS LIKE THE BACK SIDE OF A MONKEY!” you know nothing about the Sunnah!

Silence! and the guy grew a Beard and travelled to the Jamaat to show that he had grown a Beard!

There was a Libyan Shaykh (doing Phd) in USA doing the work and he went on “Ghusht” and the guy opened the door and spat on his face...Shaykh wiped his face and said, “There will be a Bayan after Salah and we will love to have you in there, Insha’Allah”

Shaykh was assassinated by Ghaddafi’s forces and body parts chopped up and spread all over Makkah because they couldn't kill him in USA so they had to kill him in Saudia!

10,000 people listening to a Bayan and not a single eye used to be dry.

I have seen prostitues take Shahada and instantly ask for a Niqab and cover for the rest of their lives and have the Ziyarah of Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) in their dreams. We can make a thread about how women changed their lives instantly by these Auliya-Allah!

My first Jamaat I got stuck with an Arab Jamaat, they didn’t English & I didn’t know Arabic. There was a Shaykh in the Jamaat who was also in charge of a Graveyard, he told me, “Son! I have been burying bodies for 18 years and in my country some graves get uncovered and I have to rebury them. We have a system where we bury the body and make the face towards the Qiblah and EVERY SINGLE DEAD BODY without a Beard ALWAYS has the face turned away from the Qiblah. I have consistently noted this over 18 years, I am not knowledgeable and don’t know whether growing a Beard is Sunnah or Wajib but this is my observation and I can’t deny it”

That had more affect on me about Beard then entire books put together...

In Iraq it was normal for everyone to be without beards and they used to have a fake Beard in the Mehrab which the Imam used to wear and then lead the Salah. Nizaumuddin Markaz sent the first Jamaat under Maulana Naveed (RA) to Iraq and instructed him to be soft and act with Hikmah!

Maulana Naveed (RA) saw this matter, went forward and SLAPPED THE IMAM on his face and said, “How dare you make FUN of the Sunnah in front of me?, Do you think this is joke?”

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) was introduced to the work of Tableegh by Maulana Naveed (RA) and he told me this himself!

Shaykh (Maulana) Yusuf Kandhalwi (RA) [2^nd Ameer of Tableeghi Jamaat) went to Pakistan and the most senior officials of Pakistani Government came to see him. The Ameer of Pakistan (himself a high ranking civil servant) started introducing “This is the minister for trade, this is the minister of defence...”

Shaykh (Maulana) Yusuf Kandhalwi (RA) got angry and said, “What kind of introduction is this? You might as well say that he is a DOG, he is a PIG...In the time of Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) people were introduced like, “This is a Sahabi of Bad’r, This is a Sahabi of Uhud, etc...””

This is written in the Biography of Shaykh (Maulana) Yusuf Kandhalwi (RA)

I suggest that no one should try these things in their local Masjid because you have to witness the Taqwa and Ibaadah of these people to see why what they did had such an impact on people.

Amazing people with no fear except Allah (SWT)! Today, because we have forgotten the honour of Islam and Muslimeen we even argue point blank matters which are Sunnah!

[63:8]...And to Allah belongs the honour, and to His Messenger, and to the believers...

I heard this first-hand and this is a REAL STORY!

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) was doing Ghusht in San Diego (CA) and they were told that most of the “Arab Muslim students” were in a strip-bar so they proceeded to the club, entered it (with the whole Jamaat) and started giving Dawah.

Club came to a halt!

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) gave Dawah and came out, one stripper came running out and wanted to know about Islam so she was given dawah and Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) said, “It is the honour of a Muslimah to cover head to toe and to leave this sinful life...”

She asked for a Jilbaab and a Niqab ON THE SPOT, took the Shahada and left!

Years later phone rings in Toronto (Canada) at 2:00 in the morning and some crying woman wants to speak to Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) and she says, “You gave me Shahadah years ago and today I was in a bus and my sleeve got caught in the chair in a bus and it got ripped and some men saw my wrist...I have been crying and I want to know HOW TO REPENT and if Allah (SWT) will forgive me for strange men seeing my wrist?”

Colonel Ameeruddin (HA) said to us, “I started crying and said, “My daughter, Allah (SWT) will forgive you and give you Jannatul-Firdaus, Insha’Allah””

And he said to us, “This is Islam and the Fear of Allah (SWT) which turns a stripper into a Wali of Allah (SWT), instantly"

This is what used to happen to Sahabah that habitual Alcoholics used to hear ONE COMMAND of Rasul-ullah (Salaho Alaihe Wassallam) and pour their drinks out! No questions, no debate!

And he said, "When the command of Pardah came down WOMEN SAT where they were and asked for a Big Chaadar to be brought to them and didn't even go home without Pardah"...
