i am reading the English translation of The Holy Qu'ran for the last few days. I want to understand it rather just read it.

However the English version of Qu'ran is extremely tough. I wont understand and if force myself i will end up misinterpreting Ayahs.

I use to google muftisays for explanation of Ayahs. Like 'Al-Baqarah 80 mufti'. After i reached 100th no Ayah...i dont find the explanation of Ayah after 100 no....even some of them within the 100 no. are missing....

what will happen ...is there is any alternative website ??

Salaam, the best person to help you would brother Muadh. Try to send him a PM.

Also, give this brother (Seifeddine) sometime, he is currently doing a great thread regarding you query.

I would recommend you read Mariful Quran, translated by Muft Taqi Usmani. The English in there is very good and easy to follow InshaAllah.

Asslamo Allaikum,

I am Sorry but I am having trouble understanding your requirements but here is a plan from what I have understood so far:

  1. Get in touch with a "Local Scholar" who can clarify matters when you need help. If you don't have anyone, use Muftisays or Sunniforum.com or another forum which is frequented and used by Ulama-e-Kiraam
  2. The best Translation/Tafseer of the Holy Qur'aan in the English language is "Qur'aan Made Easy" and its even better then the one by our beloved and noble Shaykh (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (HA) which I have posted for you for FREE downloads. I strongly suggest that you and every Muslim spend £6.00 and get this one. Ulama and Alimahs should recommend this to their students and in their communities as it is Masha'Allah very well written and much more lucid and easier to read then the translation by our beloved and noble Shaykh (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (HA)
  3. In Urdu I recommend the latest "Asaan Tafseer" by our beloved and noble Shaykh (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (HA) because it is SUPERB! This just came out last year and its designed for laymen

Here is "Quraan Made Easy"

P.S: I cannot get the link window to open so copy/paste the above link in your browser or if one of the Admins/Mods can fix the link, they will be rewarded by Allah (SWT).

Asslamo Allaikum Respected Brother in Islam,

I don't know about "Abdur Raheem As-Saranbi" who wrote these Tafseer this site hosts and I googled it and couldn't get anything on his life and who he was etc.

You have been provided Authentic "Translation/Tafseer" links in both PDF's and Audio (whatever you prefer) so I would suggest for you to use the material provided to you as it will be better for you to learn your Islam from well known, Authentic and established Scholars.

Jazakullah Khairun
