I heard a talk by Yusuf Estes a long time ago. I cant recall it word to word, but I will try to give a little explanation in my own words.
Every religion or group claims to be the saviour, they all talk about being guaranteed Paradise.
Every body is searching for that religion which guarantees Paradise. Many of them simply say follow us and you will be gauranteed an abode in paradise.
The Jews say they are the saved ones, The Christians say accept Jesus and you will be safe.
How about turning the tables
Islam is the only religion that Guarantees Hell.
How? you may wonder. Simple.
Disobey Allah and Hell is Guaranteed.
Try telling your Non Muslim (& Muslim) friends that Our Religion, "Islam" is the only religion in the world that guarantees you hell! See how they react.
So, what will we do? What do we want?
Heaven or Hell?
We dont want to go to Hell, so we need to insure that we arent given these priveleges for hell.
Lets try to gaurantee for once that we dont want whats on offer in Hell, i'm sure there will be plenty of Buy One Get One Free offers (BOGOF) and opt for the much more desired Paradise.
Lets giveup our evil desires and work hard for the end result. An Eternal Life in Heaven, InshaAllah.
I Pray to Allah to keep us all away from the fire of hell and stay on the straight path every second of our life. Ameen
