Weapon of Mass Destruction, The Tongue!

Depending on how we use it, our tongue has the potential to destroy but it also has the potential to affect hearts in a beautiful way - constructively, lovingly. 

In turn, the tongue is affected by the heart - the tongue reflects what is in the heart.

In Love for Allah, Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad explains the effects of love for Allah Ta'aala on the tongue of a sincere ashiq as follows: 

The tongue of a sincere 'ashiq has such an effect that as soon as a supplication [du'a] to Allah [Ta'aala] leaves his lips, it is accepted. And when he speaks, his words penetrate into the hearts of people. When an ordinary person says something it has no effect on others. When spoken by a person imbued with love for Allah [Ta'aala], the same words penetrate the innermost recesses of the heart.
