Alhumdolliah the recent first Hackney Masaajid Cup (HMC) event went really well on the weekend - about 190 players, 150+ spectators and lots of food and fun - with a few doses of naseeha from ulama!
Participants included teams from Masjid Quba, Madinah Masjid, Olinda Rd Masjid, Muslla Noor, Tahweed School, Al Falah School, NLMCC, Lantern of Knowledge and the new Abu Hurairah Academy (on Chatsworth Rd).
Ulama involved and/or ulama who gave naseeha/qiraat at the prize ceremonies included Imam Abdullah of Musalla Noor (and HMP Belmarsh), Shaykh Sufyaan Iqbal, Shaykh Yasar Zaman, Qari Yaseer Balesaria and other ulama.
