All three of the above titles are excellent reads Mashallah and explain the science of tasawwuf at different levels.

Can someone tell me if they have read Don't be sad by Aaidh Ibn Abdullah al-Qarni, I got is as a gift but on the foreword it written 'aaidh does something in this book that some muslims might object ti: at times, he quotes western ans eastern philosophers...'.
Just the way people are posting good and bad websites can we also do it for islamic books as there are a lot of dodge books out there with wrong info on islam.

We have this book (Don't be sad) and although my mum has not read it cover to cover, she does say that the majority of refences made are to the Quran and that the main theme repeated throughout the book is that one must accept their taqdeer.
Hope that helps a bit, although obviously, it would be best to have the book checked out by a qualified aalim, insha Allah.
