Qatari Royals refuse to sit by ghair mahram

If I'd been on that flight i wouldn't have been pleased with them delaying me. If you leave it up to the airline to seat you, you have to expect to get what they give you. If not, pay more for reserved seats in business class.

I think the reason for Muslims accepting whatever is given whether it's being seated next to Non-Mahrams or telling you that you have to shave your beard if you wanna work here is because of how weak we are and at some level scared of them. We think we have to listen or it wont get done. I have to give UK some credit (maybe other western countries too) because i've noticed that many places (even government companies) respect our Sharee'ah.

Like at the airport, they call a woman to see the face of a woman in Niqaab. But if the woman in Niqab starts getting friendly and sees no harm and says "oh it's okay, it's only for a second and it's needed" then the person (non-Muslim) who respected the Niqaab at first will start to assume it's not a problem and maybe wont offer for a woman to check next time.

Maybe i'd get annoyed at the delay but if i knew the reason, i'd be really happy and would accept the delay fully and would blame the airline company and not the practising Muslim woman who acts by the laws of Allah سبحانه وتعالى

But in my eyes, number1) they were of the royal family they would have got star treatment as it was, they should have enquired about their seating arrangements prior to booking flights or while checking in as not to cause grievences with other passengers, its not about being scared of non muslims its about "insaanyat", does islam not teach us to take into account of other people; wether they are muslims or non muslims, the sheer lack of respect for other peoples feelings disgusted me!

However i do admire and respect them for their courage, but it could have been constructed in a better manner...Not to mention the fact that they were representing the ummah, i mean just imagine if you were a non muslim and you saw the chaos that these women were creating which could have easily been avoided prior to boarding, what would you think of islam ?

With flights, they don't really give the passengers much choice, and my point was more based around that. It's mainly coz we allow it. The women amentioned above didn't allow it and (Allahu A'lam but maybe they didn't know).. that's the positive message that i've taken rather than the negative ones.
