I am going to do a talk this weekend was wonderin if anyone has any suggestions of good engaging topics?


I looked at the site but i didnt know what topic to choose

it might help if you state whether if it will be addressed to:


male or female?


location? (as some area's do lack in particular aspects)


youth?


all in general?

Assalamualaykum warahmatullah,


I'd say the hijab, the role of women(a mother, a sister a friend etc), and maybe you could give examples of famous women in Islam and their stories e.g Rabia al Basri.

Don't forget to mention the ignorant/western habits of women too where they feel they aren't given rights as Muslim women and that they are secluded from society.. complete Bakwaas if you ask me (not the topic, the mentality)

i have met many women who either dont know or understand Islam as it should be understood, and for some reason they find the laws of Islam hard and oppressive. It would be a good time to address these inferiorities by explaining the beauty of Islam and the countless rights a woman benefits from, far more then in any other religion or culture.
