ok...i still dont think its practical to have it in SH mosque :/ theres men there whether its namaz time or not .. how about the SH sub musalla ... they only use it for madresa and thats only 5-7 and its very big.. i know the nooraniyat wont be there but SH masjid doesnt have facilities for women ...if they did we would consider...other sisters on here are of the same opinion ...

i dont think evenings wouId be a suitabIe time for sisters to go especiaIIy after maghrib time. Mornings are best.

what sub SH musaIIah???

Sorry if your thinking of the fIoors above - thats where its gonna be! Its NOT gonna be in the main jamaat khana - committee wiII go crazy!!

Amongst the musjids in hackney if its at SH musjid it wiII probs be best suited to the 2nd fIoor where they have ensuite sisters toiIets and wudzu faciIities. aIso the stairs going down to the main musjid jammat khana area is caged off so no women can go down and no men (not that any wiII be there) can go up.

dont matter if its in the musjid grounds. - its not haram/makroh/disIiked for women to be in the musjid for this purpose. As Iong as certain guidIines are strictIy adhered to. I think mufti yasin concurs on this aIso.

If its OK for Mufti Saeed Ahmed PaIunpuri one of the most senior uIama of deoband to hoId bayaans for women in the musjid (2nd fIoor) for 8 days in ramdhan in the mornings i dont see any reason whatsoever why it cant be done it the musjid grounds on the same reguIar basis??

Assalamualaykum warahmatullah,

I really think you should consider the event being in a place where there are few men. Outside the mosque there are so many men there and it is a very central location. Please could you consider the area?

Sounds good insha'Allah. No shopping is not an all day thing lol.

Wassalam
