As salamu alaikum,

Did anyone hear Shiekh Riyad ul Haq's talk on paltalk today at 8.15pm?

Mashallah it was brilliant! He spoke of how as Muslims we must be balanced in our Deen and give every aspect of Deen its due. He also spoke about a great event coming up called 'Roles and Responsiiblites: Muslims living in Britian.' Inshallah this will be taking place in many cities.

Also, it was announced that tomorrow (Saturday) there will be demo in Trafalgar square (12pm assembly at Embankment) regarding the difficulties of the Muslims in Palestine. Dear brothers and sisters Inshallah we should try and avail the oppurtunity to speak up against munkar when we are able to do so (in a law abiding manner of course!).

May Allah give us the Tawfeeq to understand the full Deen Inshallah.

Personally I wouldn't attend the "Roles & Responsibilities" Conference not because of Shaykh Riyadul Haq but because of Moazzam Begg. Having read his book, there appears to be too many unexplained gaps as to why and what he was doing in Afghanistan and I wouldn't be surprised if MI5 were still on his trail. Anyone speaking or attending this conference should be wary.
