Not all you'keyyers are fat. But nowadays ppl say that darul uloom guys-gals are fat. I have been at darul uloom since the past 5-6 years. it depends. and the other thing is that over here people dont eat nuitrious food. theyll end up having fat food so they are bound to get fat.

I agree with brother Adidas. People choose to eat fatty foods and then sit and do nothing. People hardly walk. I myself am not fat, but as many unfat people, i love to eat.

Being fat is unhealthy and i wonder how these people will do Jihad if the time came. I mean they'd be an easy target wouldn't they?

May i add, Wasim, are you in UK and are you fat?

Also, i have no idea how this is to do with Fiqh. I wonder what the site admin has to say about this issue.

Darul Uloom students are not fat either. Some are because they neva exersize, they just study so Allah knows best what can be done about them.

These days ppl say darululoom guys are fat. My teachers (bury ones) say this ''Aaj kal kei molwi log ko ach-chi gari wagera aur mobile chahiye. aur motei hote hei lolz.

Being fat is not natural. If a person don't eat like there's no tomorrow (as the wise one wasim says), how can bein fat be natural.. I think eating healthy foods is not just the way, Halal is also a big issue. I just hope the liscensing authorities which i heard the people at muftisays will undertake soon goes a success. We need that in london.

And yea, the Ulamaa do need to take a break on the Da'wats. No effence respected Ulamaa but i'm sure many agree, we still love you.

....i know that some ppl eat so much and they just dont do anything about it they just want to eat and eat and then when they are too fat they strat complaining...but not everyones's situation is same some people are just naturally fat its to do with their body's metabolism...it makes some ppl go very fat and they can't slim down and other ppl are very skinny...they can eat and eat and never get fat....i think thats they way i am...so u can't really blame someone for being fat maybe they are trying to slim down and they can't....BUT PEEPS SHOULD BE CAREFUL OF WHAT THEY EAT...NOT TO MUCH FATTY FOOD!!

Hmm... no comment.. it's kinda interesting. Hopefully many lessons can be learnt from fat concerns. As in people with high "metabolism" can control themselves in fear of being suject to this subject.

P.S. if you find anything said in this topic offensive in anyway, do let me know and i will have it removed as long as what you find offensive is actually offensive. I've looked through and Alhamdulillah it's clean so far

Being thin isn't exactly going to make you a Warrior of Allahسبحانه وتعالى is it?

Most Muslims today have no experience with hand to hand, melee or firearm training. this makes them as easy a target as the fat guy sitting on the couch at home.

Look around yourself in the mosque. How many of those present do an effective martial art? How many of them know how to use a knife or other melee weapon? How many of them have experience with firearms?

I agree If the time came fat muslims would be a problem, though they are only part of a much bigger problem.

Fast food is another great cause over sized ppl. There is a documentary film about it. I am not encouraging to watch it but basically it shows how a person who ate from McDonalds for only 30 days put on somthing like 40 lbs. Now that is alot of weight for only 30 days. Ppl eat fast food day in day out. That could be one other reason of Uk'ers and USA'ers being FAT

Families in India that have the benefit of being "well off" in terms of wealth are just as if not fattter than similar people in the UK. It has nothing to do with nationality, it has everything to do with diet.

Any food eaten constantly for 30 days would have ill effects not just fast food, though fast food is understandablly worse being high in fat and carbs.

Normal ppl in the UK and USA (not well off) are probably equal in size to RICH ppl in India. So no point comparing there.

It's not the 30 days which is astonishing. It is the fact about the growth rate in 30 days. Ill effects, surely. But that amount of pounds increased in 30 days is not even normal let alone it being unhealthy.

And also, if you actually read what I wrote, the last line said, "That could be one other reason of Uk'ers and USA'ers being FAT"

"Could Be" It aint a scientific discovery. And if you must take out mistakes, bro look for spelling mistakes.

So Brother in Islam, next time, ponder the point before stating the Kellogs cereal box health slogons *wink* Wassalam
