Excerpt from Ml Ibrahim Dewla’s speeches and notes.
We shouldn’t use the knowledge of this religion to earn or gain benefits from others. Instead, we should be foremost in benefiting others. Our pious predecessors didn’t eat from others rather they fed others.
Serve the religion wholeheartedly, Allah will grant you immensely!
During Ramadan, many years ago myself and Haji Abdul Wahab رحمة الله عليه went to Saharanpur to visit Ml Zakariyya Kandhlawi رحمة الله عليه. There were six hundred guests. Their ‘suhoor’ and ‘iftar’ are all provided by Ml Zakariyya رحمة الله عليه.
Haji Abdul Wahab رحمة الله عليه said to me “If a historian notes that one man was feeding six hundred guests. People wouldn’t believe this”.
Because people today complain about the costs of raising children; they won’t be able to fathom one person is feeding six hundred guests.
But we saw with our eyes, one man was feeding six hundred guests.
Which earnings are these? There are no earnings. So where is it coming from? From piety (taqwa), the means and blessing given to every Muslim.
“And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them and provide for them from sources they could never imagine”. (65, 2-3)
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
