Wifaqul Ulama urges Muslims in Britain to attempt to sight the moon for Jumādā al-ʾĀkhirah 1446 on the evening of Sunday 1st December 2024. This will be the 29th Jumadā al-ʾŪlā 1446.
We follow the same Moonsighting process for all 12 months and all proceedings will be live on Twitter.
Official Statement from the Crescent Observation Committee at the Supreme Court:
Due to the non-confirmation of the sighting of the crescent moon for the month of Jumada al-Akhirah, 1446 AH, on the evening of Sunday, the Crescent Observation Committee at the Supreme Court has decided that Tuesday, 2/6/1446 AH marked the beginning of the month of Jumada al-Akhirah, 1446 AH.
