As salamualaikum all,

I was reading one of the articles about peer zulfiqar - central-mosque[dot]com/index[dot]php/Civil/zulfiqar[dot]html.

My questions is - Some people think that he is a wali of allah. Can I forward that fatwa in my friend circle or is that article only for scholarly discussion.

Is that fatwa still valid to this date in 2024 ? Why is the web page broken for peer zulfiqar article ?

Kindly shed some light.

Wa salam.

I have read some pages of the above muftisays post but there is conflicting statements in that article itself. Please clarify as to which one is in effect.

At the beginning of the article, it is mentioned -

We had no intention of making this Fatwa public but the actions of some in the Silsila to revile and abuse Shaykhul-Islam (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (HA) made us realise that this has gone far enough. We have confirmed that the Fatwa issued by Darul-uloom Karachi is indeed about Peer Zulfiqar Ahmed Naqshbandi and has not been retracted. We have then made Muswara with other Ulama and decided to make this public. Our confirmation is accurate and correct as of 04th of February 2018.

In the middle of the article, It is mentioned -

This fatwa should not be circulated amongst general public as it may pose Fitnah for them. However, as required, it shall be forwarded to people of ilm, Tasawwuf, especially to the khulafa of Peer Zulfiqar sahab and Murideen of his circle

I quote from mufti e azam, mufti Shafi sahib. RA

Is this the way to correct others?

Groups which are on right path are in small numbers and these groups oppose other ahle haq on furoee masail which are derived from basic teachings from quran and sunnah.

Even a minor masa'lah leads to a big fight and both parties get involved in kabeerah sins like gheebah, lies, hurting a muslim, mocking a muslim, buhtaan etc. They Fight with each other in masjids, do physical assaults which leads to intervention of police and local courts.

These pious hate the members from other ahle haq group more than the people who indulge in mocking Allah and his prophet, drunkards, usury, bribes

1. Brother, I am not sure why you are bringing wahdat e ummat issue into this topic.

2. Mufti shafi was not a prophet and his advice is not relevant to our times.

3. I fail to understand why muslim community irrespective of any sect is always defending their scholars as we if they are prophets. Why the muslim community does not think the scholars to be like doctors or lawyers etc.

Just like how a corrupt doctor or corrupt lawyer has to be brought to justice and his reputation in his career is effected, he does not get decent job, similarly a corrupt scholar career reputation should also be effected.

Is the scholar above the law of god ? Did god inform us to be easy with scholars who are corrupt and unjust ?

I just wanted to know about the conflicting statement in and out of the fatwa. Should this fatwa be forwarded to my friends circle ?

It will be easier to ask mufti taqi's darul uloom karachi directly.

Bear in mind the following instructions on their website

Asking questions, please refer to the following issues

• Write the question in Urdu, the question should be short and free of unnecessary details.

• Only send questions related to your own process, do not send questions related to another person's process.

• Do not write more than three questions in a questionnaire and it is better to send another questionnaire after getting the answer to one questionnaire.

• Answers are written only in Urdu language from Darul Ifta, which are also translated into Arabic and English when necessary.

• Avoid asking questions that are provocative or biased otherwise Darul Ifta Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi is not bound to answer such questions.

• We try to send the answer as soon as possible, however, due to the large number of questions, you may be delayed in getting the answer, so do not ask for a quick answer after sending the question.

• Check your email after submitting the question, if you have entered your correct email address you should have received a confirmation message.

If you have any questions regarding the fatwa, you have been given other sources whom you should contact if at all possible (since there are certain criteria)

Alternatively, you can use the "contact" page on Central mosque and ask directly as brother Muadh_khan hasn't posted on this forum for some time (he has not been banned)

Should you wish to update the readers on this forum with your findings, InshaAllah that'll be beneficial.

Mufti Taqi Usmani DB compiled a book on wrong doings by one group. He presented the book to his father Mufti Shafi Sab RA.
Mufti shafi sab told,
  • If your intention is to get appreciation from your own people, then you have achieved it.

  • If your intention is to correct others, you have failed, the reason is, they will never read it, this is because, for them you are an opponent (they reject you)……

  • I advice you that before you accuse others, remember... you must be able to prove the accusation before a Qazee backed with sharaee poofs/evidences/witnesses.

  • If you can't prove it here, remember you must prove it in Aakhirah”

The decision to make the Fatwa public, in response to perceived revilement towards Shaykhul-Islam (Mufti) Taqi Usmani, reflects a nuanced stance. While cautioning against widespread circulation to prevent Fitnah among the general public, the selective sharing targets those with knowledge and followers of Peer Zulfiqar Ahmed Naqshbandi for appropriate consideration.

My initial thought was that all his posts were from AI. Giving the user the benefit of doubt, I overlooked it. But, since it is clear that I'm not the only who thinks this - I will leave the decision to Admin (As I don't take or make such decisions) I can also sense a purpose to advertise in future posts. And Allah knows best.

The user is from Pakistan. I think that's how they post. Bots won't make it this far on this forum. In fact I don't think it's possible at all.

Yep thought it was some person excitedly trying out new AI technology, reminded me of a guy who posts on sports forum I occasionally visit. They also have a general topics section. Posts are Very formal, matter of fact, generally non-committal . Here is an sample of that guys posts.

..”It’s unfortunate to see the challenges that some cities are facing. While it’s important to acknowledge the issues, it’s also essential to remember that every city has its unique strengths and struggles. It’s not fair to label any city as the worst because each one has its own complexities and is continuously working towards improvement. Let's focus on supporting and finding solutions for the communities facing these challenges...”

This enthusiasm to try a new technology is sort of like when I first acquired Wattsapp, a while ago. And years after everyone else had and not understanding the ettuquettes of not over posting on Watsapp .

So I joined my School Watsapp group and started spamming it. My over enthusiasm got me banned and blocked within three weeks lol.
