Excerpt from Ml Saeed Ahmad Khan رحمة الله عليه’s speeches.

Just writing declaration of faith on paper, placing it on a wall in the home. Even if it be written in gold. Or having multiple Quran, Islamic books and literature. Just having them doesn’t serve its purpose.

No doubt, declaration of faith and the Quran are the ultimate ‘truth’.

But purpose is this ‘truth’ penetrate the heart of a human being, not merely remain in books.

Its purpose is to build certainty of belief in one’s heart.

When faith is there, Quran speaks to it being reflected in the actions of the body, it’s hands, legs, eyes, ears. As then:

(1) Minds would reflect.

“…and reflect on the creation of heavens and the earth…” (3:191)

(2) Sight would be restrained.

“O Prophet! Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity”. (24:30)

“And tell the believing women that they must lower their gazes and guard their chastity”. (24:31)

(3) Walk would have humility.

“The true servants of the Most Compassionate are those who walk on the earth humbly…” (25:63)

“And do not walk on the earth arrogantly. Surely you can neither crack the earth nor stretch to the height of the mountains”. (17:37)

(4) Response would have courtesy.

“…and when the foolish address them improperly, they only respond with peace”. (25:63)
