Excerpt from Sulaiman Jhanjhee’s speeches and notes.

You all know when a child cries, a mother leaves everything and gives it attention.

When a sky cries (it rains), it gives life to barren land.

When a Muslim cries to Allah with repentance, Allah opens doors of guidance.

Abu Umamah Sudaiy bin ‘Ajlan Al-Bahili (rad) reported: The Prophet (saw) said: “Nothing is dearer to Allah than two drops and two marks: A drop of tears shed out of fear of Allah…” (Riyad as Salihin 455)

At night even parents will close their doors for you not to disturb them. But Allah doesn’t close His door.

Today people seek pious people to pray for them and their problems.

While Allah is seeking for His servants to ask from Him.

Is there anyone to repent?

Is there anyone seeking forgiveness?

Abu Huraira reported: Prophet (saw), said, “Our Lord Almighty descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night, saying: Who is calling upon Me that I may answer him? Who is asking from Me that I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness that I may forgive him?” (Bukhari 1145)
