Brother, jamhoor ulama consider dawah to mean inviting non Muslims to Islam, so on that front obviously TJ are not engaged in dawah in the technical sense.

The same jamhoor ulema have to define, what are the rewards for TJs inviting muslims towards complete deen. Or stopping irtidaad among muslims. Half fatawa are dangerous.

This is asked many times:

Muftis who claim TJ is an optional amal, it is not dawah, TJs are doing tahreef... etc.
  • We ask what TJs will get as rewards
  • or crime of tahreef is on their head
  • or following a bida'a practice.
  • or nothing, because TJ is a bidah hasnah, no rewards no crime.


Members who quote those fatawa here are requested to consult these muftis and post muftis' replies here.

The question here is that with the Muslims of today not only unwittingly living like the kuffar but infact actively yearning to be like the kuffar, does the work of TJ then still not become Dawah, technically or non-technically?
