No one from Panama to Malaysia sighted the moon as per Mufti Amjad Mohammed on his WhatsApp status. Except for KSA!

What is their evidence of these sightings? How did they conclude/verify any sighting. In other words, they declared Eid on what basis?

Abdullah khudairi.....
In 80s he sighted moon which had already set...

Today he is director of center of astronomy, he is elevated as a scholar.
They claimed in the past, we located moon when it was present for 6 minutes, in 2023 it will be easy with 25 minutes to locate the hilal.

Actually, The Miracle is in the Sunnah

What happens occasionally (well, a lot)
in Saudi Arabia and what follows in other countries is based on ignorance.

Nations blindly following Saudi announcements.

Schools of thoughts in the West that follow Saudi, don't even follow their fatwa! If that's not ignorance, then what is.

Double standards?

No they had 14 witnesses if I'm not mistaken but yes they need to be more stringent. It seems like their are checks or crosses in verifying accounts..

Anyway eid mubarak to everyone

It was impossible for them to have seen the moon. It was nowhere near possible.

Maybe they saw fumes from a plane (Like they did in Preston and Bolton) or they saw a drone taking their photos :)

And Allah knows best!
