He doesn't know how is he reaching moon....

Astronaut is a passenger. It is similar to a passanger from delhi to newyork will be told, you have transit either at paris or london etc.

  • It is the pilot who is in control,
  • and the pilot is dictated by navigation and guidance,
  • Navigation and guidance is done by the computer,

  • the computer is built and programmed by experts.

For space mission, it is the ground control mission manager who is in control of lunar mission, all events are dictated by him or he hands it over to the autonomous onboard computer.

I don't think the astronaut has access to anything other than "ABORT" button. That too when he is near earth.

They would've done some very simple simulation runs then.

Nothing too complex.

How to enter the capsule, how to fasten the seat belt, how to wear their suit, how to press "talk" on the walkie talkies, how to eat, drink, use the bathroom, how to open the door, where to place the cameras, what dialogue they needed to say and when, and so on. Oh wait, that sounds like an actornaut to me!

After all, the super computer was in control by ground control. Aka the director.

If they encountered any technicalities, they were trained to relay a message very specifically, i.e. "Houston, we have a problem" then the ground crew would go through all the binary checks and tell them not to worry. The producer has everything under control.

I was reading hakeemul ummat Malfoozaat.
Some one asked about plans to land on moon, he advices the moon landers about
1. thoroughly study above gravity on moon. It should not happen, moon surface may repel them.
2. He advices them thoroughly estimate the orbits of moon and earth and precise time of arrival of moon.
They were our elders, they didn't negate the landing.

Did you mean..

Astronaut knows about lunar orbit, it's velocity, precise path to moon, he controls the mission, he throttles the thrust, he does the Maneuver, he is aware of the timing of events, he presses the button for every event.

As per my knowledge he has a screen where error/alert/attend messages are conveyed which he relays to mission control on ground.
There is large group of experts in many fields who build the mission. Even mission control manager consults these experts during crisis or any deviation.

The rule I follow is:

Hamaare haan Ijmaal hai tafseel naheen.

And one incident.

There was hot argument between one saint and shaiatan on existence of Allah. Satan was disproving every argument from saint.

Through ilhaam the saint's shaykh advised him to declare, I believe in Allah even if there are no proofs. Shaitaan was defeated and he fled.

Whenever science influences me I challenge science to explain this.

Rasulullah SAS had told Hazrath Abu Dhar Ghiffari RA (summarised) "On your last day you will be alone, a group shall visit you and help you in your last journey"

Hazrat Abu Zar ghaffari RA is staying alone near a road from koofa to makkah, advises his wife to prepare for visit of a group.

Hazrath Abdullah ibn Masood RA is in Koofah, misses that year's Haj. Hazrath Uthman RA calls him to Makkah.

ibn Masood RA is on the way to Makkah from Koofah, he sees a lady calling this group to help her husband in his last journey.

What ever Rasulullah SAS predicted happened. Makkah, madinah, koofah, all converging to small village of Rabda. Perfect timing!!!!

Can Science explain this..... No...

You obviously have not heard, read or watched anything related to the training, mission, landing and the rest of it.

Just one example, watch Buzz Aldrin's interview on how they landed and avoided certain spots with only 15 seconds of fuel left!

Did astronauts had knowledge about navigation of their spacecraft from earth to moon. No!
Who derived the optimum journey from earth to moon? Not the astronauts.
Who had prior knowledge about obstacles the astronauts will face? It was told by the experts to the astronauts.
Can astronauts take dynamic decisions during the journey? No they can convey the flashing message on the module to ground control. Manager on ground takes decision.

Many more...

So was the lunar module in Apollo 11 manually landed by the astronauts or was it controlled or by the ground command which made it land on the moon? Confirming that they weren't trained to land, just to relay messages to earth and follow instructions?

Please help me understand what you're trying to say.

Astronauts piloted the module during hovering phase few meters above lunar surface. This is to chose a safe spot for safe landing.
Till then they didn't had any control over spacecraft.

So let's get back on track with walking in fire or passing through radiation.

Was it mind over matter? Or as Alan Bean said on a matter, "....... they hadn't been discovered yet..."
