If we try to present science as evidence and testimony for Quran. This was done by Allama Tantawee in al Jawahir Tafseer al-Quran. The result is:

It happens many times, Science retracts from its earlier theory and declare its earlier theory as null and void. Now what happens with the Ayah we proved through scientific evidence........ do we have to reject the ayah.

This is what happened with jawahar tafseer.

We know the consequences of rejecting one Ayah.

Never fall into trap of proving the existence of Allah SWT, Aakhirath, jinns, angels etc (gaib) etc with logic and daleel.

Quran teaches us through the story of Ibrahim AS to counter the argument with examples. Ibraheem AS said "my lord makes the sun to rise from east and set at west, you reverse the direction"

Science demands from us to present clear daleel like.... you mix yellow and blue, the result is green.

The first lesson taught for learning Astronomical calculation (coordinate system) and Spherical trigonometry is:
The student has to believe that he is stationary and is standing at center of universe and all celestial bodies are moving in a definite path around him. Else... All the equation he is learning later are invalid.

Now what about....... moon revolving around earth, earth revolving around sun in elliptical orbit, sun is moving, other galaxies are moving etc.

Pluto is no more a planet. number of moons around planets are increasing etc.

It is important to understand that science and religion serve different purposes and operate under different methodologies. Science is a method of inquiry based on observation, experimentation, and analysis, which aims to explain natural phenomena in a systematic and verifiable way. Religion, on the other hand, is a belief system that provides a moral and spiritual framework for individuals and communities, based on faith and revelation.

While science can provide evidence and explanations for natural phenomena, it cannot address questions of faith or spiritual beliefs, such as the existence of God or the afterlife. Likewise, religious texts and teachings cannot be tested or validated by scientific methods, as they deal with non-physical and non-empirical concepts.

Therefore, while it is possible to find some scientific facts or theories that are consistent with or mentioned in religious texts, it is not appropriate to use science as a tool to prove or disprove religious beliefs. Likewise, it is not necessary to reject or revise religious teachings based on scientific discoveries or revisions, as they serve different purposes and operate under different frameworks.

Science and religion can coexist and complement each other in certain ways, they should not be conflated or used to validate or invalidate each other. Each serves its own purpose and has its own domain of inquiry.
