Strong reaction from Saudi media
Saudi channel Al Arabiya TV said during its broadcast on November 17 that "unknown and suspicious accounts" on social media had launched a campaign "to attack Saudi projects".

An article on Al Arabiya's website said the social media campaign criticizing the Riyadh season was aimed at "distorting Saudi soft power and the Vision 2030 program."

Some quarters have criticized and linked it to the ongoing war in Gaza and Lebanon that despite the deaths of people there, cultural events continue in Riyadh.

However, the pro-Saudi monarchy columnist Abdullah al-Jadaiya said in Al-Arabiya's broadcast that behind this campaign are the "Muslim Brotherhood" banned in Saudi Arabia and its members around the world.

When asked why there was criticism for singing and dancing in the ceremonies, Jadiya said that all the ceremonies were interrelated and their purpose was entertainment to bring smiles on the faces of Muslims.

He said that 'in history, Muslims have seen wars, peace and deaths. It does not mean that life stops completely.'

He said that the operations in the Palestinian territories "did not start last day nor have they started since October 7." Palestine has been occupied for nearly 80 years.

Jadayah said Saudi Arabia was going through a "major change" and had "dealt with many people who took advantage of previous periods and opposed change."

When asked why the fashion show was criticized for its resemblance to the Kaaba on a glass screen, he said, "Al-Qaeda was the first group to limit Saudi Arabia as a country with two (holy) mosques." had tried to do.'

He said, 'Is there any sane person in the world who would say that any cube or square object is an insult to the Kaaba?'

He claimed that these people 'only try to embarrass Saudi Arabia by teasing the issue of two holy mosques.'

They are not Tablighi but rather Deobandi and aligned with the establishment. Even Maulana Tariq Jameel had issued a notice requesting them not to use his videos on their channel. Furthermore, the individual featured in their video clip is an Ahle Hadith scholar, Allama Hisham Elahi Zaheer, which means he is neither Tablighi nor Deobandi.

I get that Tablighi and Deobandi are basically the same thing, and trying to differentiate between them is like arguing whether it’s potato or potahto, or tomato or tomahto.

I know the channel has been around for a long time but it did not take of until the veteran Tablighi Naeem Butt and several others starting posting Karguzaris a decade or so ago on this channel and it's very popular with Tablighis.

The actions of masses reflect the leader of the masses.

We have been watching the saudis for decades. personally Witnessing during the visits, collecting reports from the visitors and the reports from expats.

what MBS doing is whatever the majority local citizens desire and demand. If today, if any survey or referendum is conducted, MBS shall win it with large majority.

Majority of Saudis boast of their tauheed, claiming, they never bow towards idol or a grave. Also boast of they are regular in salah (of course fardh alone, a skeleton).

But other 3 branches!!!
3) Akhlaaq (Moral character)
4) Muamalaat (Public dealings)
5) Muaasharaat (Social etiquette).

These 3 branches were getting eroded for decades, Ali Mian Nadvi RA calls it........ "initially, irtidad of 3 branches, then finally Quick irtidad of ibaadaat leading to irtidaad of Imaan occurs".

Saudis' hatred towards other muslim communities, labeling them grave worshipers, innovators, asharees or matridis, or labeling others kaafirs for their aqeedah on where is Allah. Also claim that other muslims deserved to be punished for the above.

In their backyard irtidad was fast happening, they didn't take steps to reform their society for irtidaad of other 3 branches. Finally the results are visible. Their intellects have declared that there is no irtidaad in these 3 branches, they made it permissible from their research of modern Islam. They won't change, they change Islam (urdu couplet)
