Unfortunately, he wants that, he must be made responsible for the pogrom, he gains votes..
9 states are going to polls this year and parliament elections in 2024.

Bismillah

All this is well known and whilst Modi was chief minister of Gujarat. He was banned from entering America for carrying out his pogrom.

Only shocking thing is that the BBC who as a media organisation has historically engaged in cover ups, and self imposed censorship concerning atrocities committed against muslims. Has reported on this...albeit 20 years after the fact.

Muslim schools, colleges and institutes in the UK and beyond should screen both episodes of the BBC documentary on #Modi and #India to all their learners and worshippers, to increase awareness about the brutality and terror of the Indian government.

Allah uses whom He wills! If not the hypocritical people, the believers, then at least the non believers can make some noise and hopefully wake others up in the process

Bismillah.

They are not only aware but actively supporting these attrocities. Even handing awards to Modi and greater trade deals.

And on that front India has increased economic ties with Russia over the last year. I Suspect the BBC documentary has less to with having sympathy for muslims. And more to do with anger over Russia/India ties.

Who cares? Not like anyone going to do anything about it. Can't blame modi Israel uk USA for doing what they do. Taking land and property from Muslims is like taking candy from a baby and killing them is less severe than killing wild animals. We only have ourselves to blame

Who cares???
All muslims should care. And we should not be ambivalent and indifferent.

And if a day comes when as muslims we stop caring. Then we should be really worried.

I think his "who cares?" was about the Kuffar and also majority Muslims who genuinely don't care as it doesn't affect them personally.

Like you said, every Muslim should care. But sadly most don't. It's only a handful and in UK the campaigners are mostly non-Muslim as far as I've noticed.

Regarding these atrocities, the Qur’aan Majeed states:

“Thus, when the first two of the Promises arrived, We sent against you (the Muslim Ummah of Bani Israaeel) Our servants (the kuffaar army of Nebucanezzar) who were powerful in warfare. Then they penetrated the homes (of the Muslims). And, it was a Promise (of Allah) decreed (for the punishment of the grossly errant Ummah).”

“And when the second Promise arrived so that they (the kuffaar) may disfigure your faces (torture and brutalize you) and so that they may penetrate into the Musjid (Musjidul Aqsa), and they destroyed everything they overran.”

(Surah Bani Israaeel)

Brother mkdon101 is trying to say the following:

As for the oppression which Muslims are suffering, they (Muslims) have qualified themselves for such Athaab. Allah Ta’ala is not unjust. He does not punish without valid cause. And, by Him ‘valid cause’ is when there is no longer scope for redemption and reformation. As long as there is hope for Muslims to understand, repent and reform, Allah Ta’ala will not unleash such Athaab as we are observing blazing in the lands of Muslims. In this regard, the Qur’aan Majeed states:

“Most assuredly, We shall give them (Muslims) to taste of the lesser punishment, not the greater punishment, for perchance they will heed and return (to the Path of Rectitude).”

When the ‘Lesser Athaab’ is ignored and lesson is not derived, and when it serves no purpose, then arrives the Athaab-e-Akbar (The Greater Chastisement) which we are all observing in various countries.

Writing letters of protest to the various governments, their embassies and making loud noises full of sound and fury signifying nil, are all futile acts of Muslims who lack intelligence and who have failed to understand the actual causes for the oppression and brutality. They fail to discern the Hand of Allah Ta’ala enacting these occurrences. They lack knowledge and understanding of the Qur’aan and Ahaadith, hence they seek solutions in mirages and in hallucination.

The one and only solution is Inaabat ilal laah, that is, to turn to Allah Ta’ala with Taubah, Istighfaar, Taa-at and Ibaadat. Only then will Allah Ta’ala turn the tables. But this depends on the reformation of the Nation, not on the reformation of a tiny group and some individuals. Stating this fact, the Qur’aan says:

“And turn to Allah with repentance all of you so that you attain success.”

End quote.

I don't think every trial ummah is facing today is athaab from Allah SWT.
It could be Palestinian brothers, why should the face athaab for wrongs done by their Arab neighbors.
And in India, pious are worried about Islam, while liberals and sinners are affected neither by Modi nor by someone else.
