Excerpt from Ubaidullah Balyavi’s speeches.

Light of stars cannot compare to your radiance,

Qualities of treasures within earth cannot compare to your one trait

What is status of our Prophet (saw)?

(1) Musa (as) supplicated

“My Lord expand for me my breast” (20: 25)

“and make my task easy” (20:26)

Allah replied:

“[Allah] said, “You have been granted your request, O Moses.” (20:36)

Prophet (saw) didn’t need to supplicate for this. In Quran, what does Allah say about our Prophet (saw)? Allah’s grace that He gave to Prophet (saw) without asking.

“Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?” (94:1)

“And We removed from you your burden” (94:2)

(2) Musa (as) requested to see Allah

“My Lord, show (Yourself) to me that I may look at You.” (7:143)

Allah replied:

“You shall never see Me.” (7:143)

Musa (as) persisted in petition. Then, Allah appeared only the extent of little finger to the mountain. (Ibn Kathir)

“So when his Lord appeared to the Mount, He made it smashed, and Musa fell down unconscious.” (7:143)

While in ascension (miraj), Prophet (saw) was close, spoke to and saw Allah.

Prophet (saw) didn’t pray to see Allah as he (saw) had complete conviction in the unseen. Angels were never sent to Musa (as) saying that Allah wants to meet you. But Allah sent angels, Jibreel & Mikaeel to bring His beloved, Prophet (saw) to meet Him.

Difference of opinion exists whether Prophet (saw) saw Allah or not.
