The visiting Indian akabir appreciated the Raiwind Ijtema for their discipline, dedication and qurbani.
This is karguzari of 2 ijtemas held in Raiwind, compiled by Indian akabir.
Raiwind ijtema is the only one which was uninterrupted, Covid and lock down could not disrupt this ijtema.
Ijtema was held in two sessions, atendees was equally divided. 4+4 lakh attendees could be accommodated in pendal. press estimated the floating crowd and reported the attendees to be 10+10 lakhs.
The local masjid musallees formed a single group and stayed in the pendal and had their food in pendal itself. It was a make shift masjid for them. The organisers offered the mounting pillars, the roof sheets were erected by each masjid for their part where they stayed.
The discipline by the attendees was praised by Indian akabir.
10,600 foreign saathees representing 107 countries were present in ijtema. They stayed for full week. They were served by Raiwind madrasah students and teachers with ikram, muhabbat, sa'aadath.
1st ijtema:
2,880 jamaats . 741 Jamaath with 7,000 sathees from other countries ,
91 local jamaaths travelling to other countries for one year/7 months .
54 Local one year jamaaths.
1533 local jamaaths.
2nd ijtema. 245 jamaath from foreign countries, 97 local jamaaths to foreign countries, 56 local one year jamaaths , 1733 local jamaaths.
Most of the bayans were delivered by Indian akabir.
