Hello my dear brothers and sisters,

My name is Ichrak and I have recently posted a story about my family's problems regarding our health and finances. I don't know if you have read or not my story, but I made a Fundraiser in GoFundMe. We humbly ask for your help, hoping that all our financial and health problems will be resolved as soon as possible. Your support would mean so much to us, as any amount in complete honesty would greatly help us in such a difficult moment. It will be greatly appreciated if you can also share our story with your family and friends.

I wanted to share the link, but the system here doesn't allow me to do so. Instead, I will give you the title of the Fundraiser and the name of the founder (me). You have to type GoFundMe first. The title is HELP NEEDED (HEALTH AND FINANCIAL PROBLEMS) and the name of the founder is Ichrak S.

Are you are a member of the MSA (Muslim Student Association) at University.

Your fellow students in the MSA would be best people to ask. To help share your Gofundme via Social Media.

People are reluctant to forward a GoFundMe that is based in a foreign country. Unless the story has already received coverage in the international media.

This particular forum is based in the U.K.

In a nutshell for a Go Fund Me to be successful it should be first shared amongst family and friends, within local city and country.

To answer your question, I’m not a member or in contact with the MSA since I was online the whole past year and as you know I couldn’t even start this year properly. I can understand why some people would be reluctant to donate or even share my fundraiser, but honestly I don’t think that anyone would lie about something so big. Of course, I tried to share it as much as I could locally. What else can I do? If anyone need proof, I have it too. Allah knows the best. What can I say? Dear brothers and sisters, if you can help, please do. If you can’t, it’s perfectly okay. The thought is meaningful as well.

About the GoFundMe;

You have posted a link, but after that you say that you are not allowed to post the link here? I am confused. This link works fine. Is this the link you want us to donate on?

Secondly, I would highly suggest that the GoFundMe link is "distributed" among reliable WhatsApp, Facebook and other social media groups in your community. In North America, there are many affluent Muslims and insha'Allah this amount will be met if enough circulation of the link and cause is done. If you can involve someone influential locally, such as a local community leader, Imam etc. that would be best.

And please confirm that the link you posted already is right, so we can contribute something.

After some time, it finally worked and my replies with the link got accepted by the admins of this website so all the comments I wrote got posted one after another automatically. Get the contact details of Ottawa Muslim Association. University Of Ottawa Muslim Students Association (UOMSA). Algerian Muslim Association of Ottawa (AMANA) etc.

Whatever other Mosques and organisations you can think of tell them your story in brief, ask them if they would be willing to share your Go Fund Me on watsapp groups and Social Media platforms. Explain that you are willing to provide proof of your circumstances etc.

And you can expand by googling and then contacting muslim organisations and Muslim Student Associations and Masajids and Algerian community associations across Canada. City by city starting from Ottawa, to Montreal, Toronoto, Vancouver, Halifax, Calgary so on and so forth.

Muslimlink website in canada is a great resource for contacts of various organisations.

Make dua before writing, make dua during writing and after writing. And ask ALLAH for help and assistance at each and every step.
