Allah has made this world for every human a place of test. One of names of this world is ‘home of tests’. Allah has sent each and every human being into this ‘house’ to get tested. Every human being is being evaluated. Allah is examiner. Human being is examinee.
This is relationship between the slave and master. The place of this test is this world. The period in which you are tested is this life. This ‘life’ has been granted solely to go through tests.
“[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed†(67:2)
It is being headless, naïve or big misunderstanding to think that I am here in this world just to have fun. This is place where one should maximize their pleasure. Its place where one should experience every luxury. Its place where every wish & desire will be fulfilled.
But the Creator is saying no, this place is not for luxury, wishes or desires to be fulfilled or have all our hopes fulfilled. Rather this is place of tests.
Sometimes wealth is given & he is being evaluated. Sometimes poverty is given and he is being evaluated. Wealth is test so is poverty a test. Sometimes something is given as a test. Sometimes something is taken as a test. Sometimes good health is given and he is being evaluated. Sometimes illness is given and he is being evaluated. (Stage of) Youth is a test. Old age is a test. Every situation of human being is a test.
