As we see with many things, the rainbow has been hijacked by the people like those at the time of Prophet Lut عليه السلام
They were punished by Allah! The Sunnah of Allah repeats as we have seen on many occasions.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘There is nothing I fear for my ummah more than the deed of the people of Lut.’” Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1374
We need to do what it takes to distance oursleves from this crime in any shape or form. That includes teaching our children what is correct and what is not, teaching them about the punishment Allah has set out and what happened in the past to such people.
Alhumdulillah, better late than never, but Saudi Arabia have actually finally started to understand the wrath of Allah and fear the punishment of Allah.
