📌 *Ramaḍān 1443 Moonsighting, Friday 01st April 2022*

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه

Wifaqul Ulama urges all UK Muslims to search for the Hilaal for the month of *Ramaḍān* 1443 in UK on Friday 01st April 2022 which corresponds to 29th Shaʿbān 1443 after sunset.

We follow the same Moonsighting process for all 12 months and all proceedings will be live on Twitter.

So they will say the moon was above the horizon after sunset, regardless of if they saw it with their own eyes or if it was a computer generated CCD image

Haramain info announced at 6.09 saudi time. Maghrib in makkah 6.44.

Asim Khan from islam21c tweeting at 4.30 UK time ramadan mubarak. Even early time asr dnt start then . I mean if u gana blind follow saudi at least show some decency n wait till maghrib

Very disappointed that IEA also announced ramadan starting tomorrow. From what I heard local qazis received news of testimonies and accepted. Wifaqul ulema need to reach out to them as they probably unaware of the fact it was scientifically impossible for it to have been sighted.

Well they did shut down Umrah, Mataaf, Haram and so many other things based on a computer generated genome sequence so CCD would be above Sunnah for them.
