📌 *Shaʿbān 1443 Moonsighting, Thursday 03rd March 2022*

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه

Wifaqul Ulama urges all UK Muslims to search for the Hilaal for the month of Shaʿbān 1443 in UK on Thursday 03rd March 2022 which corresponds to 29th Rajab 1443 after sunset.

We follow the same Moonsighting process for all 12 months and all proceedings will be live on Twitter.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه

The Hilaal for Shaʿbān 1443 was sighted in the designated zone for UK.

Therefore, the Islamic month of Rajab will complete 29 days and the first day of Shaʿbān 1443 will be tomorrow Friday 4th March 2022.

I saw myself on friends phone. Shaykh gani is on the group which states he and 4 others signed declaration no sighting so they didn't start shaban so maybe u should go back to him and ask him why he didn't object.

I can show u screenshot from group. It says moon not sighed so rajab will hav 30 days and signed by 4 people one being him. Maybe they either later said they saw moon in UK so began with us. Another person on that group who is pro crescent society then said only follow UK not morroco and S.A like wifaqul.
