Yet another complicated dynamic of the Russian invasion of Ukraine: thousands of soldiers in the Russian army are Muslims from diverse ethnic and national backgrounds. They also serve in the Ukrainian forces. Chechens fight on both sides, mirroring divisions in Chechnya.

Senior Russian Muslim clerics have backed the Kremlin's line on the invasion, including Gainutdin, Tadzhuddin, Krganov. Samigullin (Tatarstan) and Il'dar (Moscow) have been more circumspect, calling for prayers for peace.

The Chechen strongman Kadyrov has impatiently called for further Russian escalation and cheered on his loyalists fighting in Ukraine as part of the invasion forces.

But there's more: a Telegram channel has shown a video of Ukrainian fighters smearing ammunition with pork grease and insulting Chechens. Others make reference to fighting "Orcs" and the "horde."

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Mufti Said Ismagilov has called for Ukrainian unity against Russian aggression, criticizing his counterparts in Russia for justifying the invasion on religious grounds and mobilizing resistance alongside other Ukrainians.

The war is likely to further unsettle ethnic relations throughout the region - and put into question the domestic and international legitimacy of Russian Muslim religious authorities who have entered the fray on the side of the Kremlin.

Beyond the traumatic effects of the war on Ukrainian soil, Russia's sanctions-induced economic crisis will hit its Muslim migrant diaspora communities hard and bleed into the Caucasus and Central Asia.

This war is creating a very grim future for all of Eurasia.

I saw a news article last week at work on RT News. It was a video call from a Mayor in Ukraine. He said that the Ukraine army are killing its own people.

I tried to search up again online but found that a few search engines were not allowing me to do so.

RT News was providing news that mainstream media were not showing, just like Al Jazeera. We watch both news channels at work as the screen is on in the background.

Today, RT News has been taken off by the British government since they want to control what we hear and see.
Many search engines and social media channels are not allowing any alternative news to come in from Russia.

As Mufti Tariq Masood said once, (in reference to the Taliban victory) "The media are told to show what the government/military tells them what to show - Show only what they are permitted to show"

Every nation will slowly be dictated over and yet they don't see it happening! SubhanAllah. Even a child can tell when they are being censored, so why can't grown ups?

I know there are one million muslims in ukraine and 25 millions in Russia but let's not be "Begani Shaadi Mein Abdullah Deewana".

It's a tricky one for muslims as we all know what russians have done in syria and what soviets did to muslims in central asia but the west has also been very hypocritical in their condemnations and media narrative.

Ukraine And The New Al Qaeda

Quote:
The eruption of war between Russia and Ukraine appears to have given the CIA the pretext to launch a long-planned insurgency in the country, one poised to spread far beyond Ukraine’s borders with major implications for Biden’s “War on Domestic Terror”

‘NATO Planned to Launch a War Against Russia’: Azarov

www.telesurenglish.net/news/NATO-Planned-to-Launch-a-War-...

"The Russian government decided to stop this situation and restore order in Ukraine,” wrote Nikolai Azarov, who served as Ukrainian Prime Minister three times.

Through a message posted on Facebook on Friday, Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov claimed that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) planned a nuclear attack against Russia, taking advantage of the existence of geopolitical problems with Ukraine.

“NATO was planning to launch a Third World War using nuclear weapons against Russia and the main role in this was given to the current American-dominated ruling elite in Ukraine and the nationalists,” Azarov wrote.

“Since Dec. 2021, Russia has been receiving information about NATO's plans to deploy 4 military brigades (2 land, 1 navy, 1 air) on the territory of Ukraine," he added, explaining that an air brigade has the ability to carry nuclear warheads.

"NATO wanted approval of this deployment of troops in the summer of 2022 at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)," Azarov said, recalling that the organization sought to provoke a "launched large-scale military operations against Russia with the use of nuclear weapons.”

“In order to prevent the Third World War and the attack on Russia with the use of nuclear weapons, the Russian government decided to stop this situation and restore order in Ukraine,” wrote Azarov, who served as Ukrainian Prime Minister three times, the last of which occurred from March 2010 to January 2014.

“One day before the start of the war, fateful decisions were made to exterminate the Russian-speaking population in Donbass. The Ukrainian army, led by the National Brigades, was preparing to start a military operation in Donbass on Feb. 25, 22,” Azarov claims.

On March 4, however, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that his country and NATO will not play an active role in the Ukraine conflict. "It is absolutely clear to us that there will be no NATO military involvement in this conflict," he stressed, adding that Germany would use all diplomatic means "to ensure that the possibility of a joint way out of this crisis is attempted, although it has already come this far."

Mashallah I really like this smile 2 Jannah brother. He even spoke on the hijab issue in India. His presentation was in Urdu and it was very timely and balanced.

His Urdu presentation was much more sober than his English presentations and I prefer the former over the latter. His English presentations are obviously geared towards his UK/London audience.

His assessment here about the Russia Ukraine situation is also very well researched, mashallah.

I'd be very interested to know what he has to say about certain other prominent topics.

Yes, obviously. Thank you.

I'm sure you've posted this article after due diligence.

I can understand if you don't want to share your findings. There's nothing wrong with that.

I have my own conclusions and I feel it would be inappropriate to share them here.

Thank you for posting the article. It gave me a chance to read up a little bit and understand the issue a little better.

Russia’s suspicions about the U.S.-funded biolaboratory program in Ukraine are being heightened by a recent acknowledgement by Victoria Nuland, the Under Secretary of States

Victoria Nuland Admits Fear ‘Russian Forces May Be Seeking to Gain Control’ of Ukraine Biolabs

beckernews.com/biden-state-department-fuels-russias-worst...

Also in the dark web :) or should I say not on MainStreamMedia

WHAT HAVE FAUCI’S FRIENDS BEEN UP TO IN UKRAINE?

"Interestingly, the BTRP has a direct connection the EcoHealth Alliance. That’s the same EcoHealth Alliance connected to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

It doesn’t take much to add all of this up. Ukraine is at the forefront of the US Department of Defense’s Biological Threat Reduction Program that essentially is another form of a Wuhan lab, which means the US DoD is researching bioweapons right across the border from Russia. Putin may be brutal, but given what came out of Wuhan, these bioweapon research facilities in the Ukraine appear to be an existential danger to Russia. Why would he want to take a chance with an increasingly brazen NATO on his doorsteps and the threat of bioweapons?

None of the above justifies the Russian army’s brutality in its attacks on Ukraine, but the US DoD’s games in far off places having been causing more problems than they solve and if the game here was to get a one up on Russia, then it is America’s willingness to play with fire that is the real trigger for this war.

NATO has done a good job over the years painting itself as the “defender of freedom” against an autocratic Russia. However, given the brutality showed across the world connected to COVID-19 restrictions, coupled with the fact that it was the USA’s own government (albeit only a clandestine part of it) that had a direct hand in developing the COVID-19 pathogen, it is increasingly getting harder to tell the difference between the two sides."
