The first year of this course incorporates an in-depth study of Islamic sciences.
*Subjects that will be covered include:*
▪︎ Hifdh of selected Surahs, Azkār and Adīyyah
▪︎Tajwīd: Theoretical and Practical
▪︎Tafsīr and translation of Qurān
▪︎Ahādīth
▪︎Arabic - Nahw, Sarf and Literature
▪︎Sīrah Al-Mustafā
▪︎Fiqh (Hanafi fiqh in first year)
▪︎Tarbīah
*Distinguishing aspects of this course:*
▪︎ Great emphasis will be placed on Itqān and perfecting one's recitation of Qurān Karīm
▪︎ The option of studying the science of Qirā'ah will be given to those whom have completed the second year.
▪︎ A major portion of the first year will be focused on building a strong foundation of the Arabic language, aiding one in gaining a fundamental understanding of it.
Those who complete the first year of this course will be competent enough to independently translate and understand Qurān and other Arabic texts, identify the structure and components of Arabic sentences, as well as read Arabic without i'rāb.

▪︎ Ability to read Qurān looking inside
▪︎ Able to converse in English
